In general, the landlord is a great guy. Place is clean and not too far from airport.

Wonderful guests house with so much attention to detail. Hermanus and Kevin are fantastic hosts. They made an appointment at the hair salon for me, took me there and came to fetch me again. I really appreciated this service. The breakfast was delicious and the rooms decorated with great taste. There is an honesty bar where I helped myself to drinks and I wrote it in the honesty book. The shower in the morning was phenomenal with so much pressure. The gardens and the pool area are well looked after. Pinelands are very central and close to the airport. I would highly recommend staying at Brookedale House.

Together with my family we booked the last night in Cape Town at this accommodation near the airport. We met 2 top-notch hosts who treated us exceptionally. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious. The breakfast, handcrafted, was exquisite. Without a doubt we would return!!

Fantastic stay. Kevin and Herman were excellent hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Lovely beds. Had two trips out with Herman. He is an excellent guide - took us on a peninsula tour taking in beaches that are not accessible by commercial tour operators. Having seen the freshly caught fish at Simons Town harbour and getting a hankering for fresh fish our wish was Kevin's command and he cooked us some lovely Kingklip. Had a tour to the winelands with Herman who handpicked the best of the wine farms (again far superior to the commercial operators) our stay was finished off with a shuttle back to the airport. Highly recommended and would definitely stay again.

I have enjoyed my stay at Brookdale House this month. Extremely clean and comfortable. Kevin and Herman were extremely helpful and hospitable. Great service and accommodation, i will definitely book her on my next trip. Thank you, Kevin and Herman!

Lovely accommodation - clean and comfortable. Super-helpful staff met every requestwithout being over-attentative. Food exceptional - an evening meal was offered, and was lovely. Bar facilities available. Lovely pool area. Highly recommended.

Brookdale guest house is very clean . The young lad who cleaned my room and topped up my coffee sachets sail was amazing so thank you . I would very easily exchange my cleaning lady at home for him . ( Don’t tell her I said that 😂) The property is extremely safe and secure. It is about 15 mins drive from Airport and 20 mins drive to V&A Waterfront. A 10 min walk will get you to Howard’s Mall where there is a supermarket, restaurants, Fast Foods , hairdressers, laundromat, Woolworth and coffee shop . A very peaceful place to stay

Spent a lovely evening at Brookdale House. The hosts are very friendly and extremely helpful. The bed was very comfortable, the bath was decadant and the breakfast was delicious. I will definitely visit again. Great for a business stop.

We had an excellent stay at Brookdale House. We arrived on Sunday night and were delighted when Kevin offered us a lovely hot dinner and a glass of wine. Their hospitality went above and beyond expectations - Kevin and Herman are outstanding hosts in a vey competitive industry.

Everything was perfect. I arrived later in the evening and needed to leave early for a flight. Close proximity to airport (12 mins). Host was very accomodating with a cold beer on arrival and a prepared breakfast pack in the morning. Would highly recommend.

BnB’s supply a Bed and a Breakfast and Brookdale did just that and much more . Room 1 was a lovely comfortable room with its own entrance and leading out onto the lawn and pool . The guesthouse supplies beach towels for your convenience. The room has a safe ( FOC) a hairdryer and plug adapter. There is a small book swop in the dining room. WiFi is very good for what I needed . There is a tV . I found a film channel. The aircon was a wonderful treat . The bathroom was so clean and shower gel and moisturiser was supplied. Breakfast was served in the dining room between 6-9am however the owner is Flexible if you are booked on any trips and will fit in with your timings . The breakfast is made to order and is waiter service ( rather than a breakfast buffet) The fresh fruit salad is delicious and I loved the coffee . Excellent way to start your day. Pinelands is a nice suburb, with a golf course and shopping Mall . It is a very safe area with Neighbourhood Watch patrolling . It is 15 mins from the airport and about 20 mins into Waterfront in Cape Town . It is slightly out of the way but it’s such a beautiful safe area . Hiring a car is a good idea . Taxi’s or Uber will get you into town for about £13 each way. A walk to the Howard Mall takes about 10mins . There is a supermarket, Woolworths ( I thought they had gone bust !) hairdressers, nail bar , Wimpy, McDonald’s, KFC and a wonderful Vegetarian Noodle Restaurant. Banks and cash points The BnB is kept Immaculately clean and tidy It is safe and secure ( I am a 55 year old female solo traveler) I would highly recommend Brookdale Guesthouse as a base to explore Cape Town and it’s fantastic beaches . Camps Bay was my favourite
