As we knew this was 2 star accommodation we weren't expecting too much. However we were very happy with everything. Yes it's simple but it's clean and well kept. It's not a hotel but small blocks of large studio rooms with a small kitchenette and bathroom and balcony. The owners are lovely and always on hand to help if needed. The swimming pool was a good temperature and size. When we were there most of the other guests were at the older age range but then it wasn't the school holidays. There's a bakery across the road, a supermarket about 800m away and restaurants and the beach a little further. The beach is rather pebbly but the sea was lovely and clear. We ate at the restaurant in the studios 3 or 4 times and every meal was lovely. Ate out other times in the local restaurants - good value and delicious. Got the bus into the next town a couple of times - 2 euros and very regular. The only negatives I can give were the mosquitos and there is road noise at night - take spray and earplugs if you suffer. I usually go to all inclusive hotels but really enjoyed this holiday and will definitely come back to Greece again but try somewhere else as don't tend to go to the same place twice no matter how good. We booked through On the beach and found it was much cheaper than Jet 2.

What a fantastic place, family were so friendly, the room was 1st class, the whole complex was clean. The food was very good nice to have homemade and reasonably priced. Lovely little additions to self catering, hand wash and washing up liquid. Air conditioning superb. Although on main road it was quiet and so near bus stops so travel easy and not expensive. Near to all amenities. Best we have experienced for the cost. Loved it and hopefully will return.

Very friendly, small family run establishment. Rooms are very clean and well looked after. Food in the bar is very good and available all day. We arrived at 130am due to delays but were still served with a drink on arrival - excellent customer service.

Hosts are nice at first However they allow family and friends children to use the pool as if it was their own personal garden , the children are rude and aggressive to everyone who’s a tourist , they push and pull the kids on holiday and snatch toys and pool floats from them and hurt my kids multiple times shoving them over. And if you complain or mention it to the hosts they become rude and stand offish with you and make you feel extremely uncomfortable It’s in the middle of absolutely no where , few shops or restaurants about , so you have to take a bus everywhere Food isn’t the best served there to be honest The kids however taking over the pool everyday just ruined completely and I’d never return no matter how cheap it was

A great place to spend a holiday in a peaceful and friendly environment, away from the city noises. As you can see on the pictures, just next to the swimming pool is bar, where you can have a family meal or have some cold beer or coctail. Walking distance to market if you want to prepare your own food. Also walking distance to some good restaurants. Gerani itself is located not far away from Elafonisi beach well known for its unique pink sand, or Chania city where you can take boat trip to Balos beach. In the neighbopar village Platania, you can book boat trip around the island and snorkeling in the middle in the torquise waters of Crete or many more activities such as cushion ride or parachute. Thank you Pardalakis for a great time. If I will ever decide to see Crete again, I am sure I will book your studio again.

What a beautiful place and the Pardalakis family are amazing. Lovely clean rooms with everything you could need or want for a self catering holiday, lovely pool area with plenty of sunbeds and parasols. The family are the friendliest and most helpful people, the food is fantastic and very affordable. Located just outside the little village and just a 5 minute bus ride to Platanias which is full of restaurants and shops. Will definitely return.

Just like to say what a brilliant time we had at Pardalakis apartments Everything thing was so relaxed the family that runs the apartments nothing is to much trouble for them made you fell so welcome Food cooked fresh every day good value for your money Lovely pool no early morning dash for sun beds Can’t wait to go back next year

This lovely family run studio rentals is on Beautiful grounds, full of fruit and palm trees, Beautiful clean pool area, Fabulous Greek food and reasonable price, Maria, the lovely cleaner was so helpful, does a fantastic job on her own. Fantastic 1st Wedding anniversary.

What a beautiful place to stay. Plenty of space in our accommodation for the 3 of us. Pool lovely, always sun loungers available in the sun or the shade. Pool bar open early until very late with a fab range of food and drinks on offer for very reasonable prices and excellent quality. Owners and staff couldn’t be more helpful and friendly. Will definitely be back.

This apartment was beyond basic. It was badly misrepresented by Jet2. The photographs on the website are a far cry from the reality. The room was dark and dingy, there was no table and chairs to eat at, there was one chair, the kitchen area had no prep space and the shower was tiny. Outside there was a patio table and two chairs. The view from the terrace was the main road and the building opposite. However, the staff were lovely, the pool was clean and warm and there were plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. The pool bar served a small selection of meals and snacks with a variety of drinks and ice creams. It is a 10 min walk to the nearest shop and 1520 min to the nearest small village with a couple of bars and restaurants. If you like peace and quiet this is the place for you.

Week booked this a couple of months ago as was not to expensive and we as a family have found the apartments nice and clean bed are single but comfortable and clean the pool is lovely and the family are very friendly and attend to your needs and help where ever they can the food was lovely and the bus stop into the busy area is outside the apartments would definitely come back here for the money we paid can’t fault the people and the place

What a fantastic place this is. It’s immaculate, friendly, foods unbelievably delicious, prices are totally reasonable, with free WIFI, air-conditioning, & fridge, finally the pool is huge. It may be rated 2* hotel but it delivers 5* service, so much so we’ve booked to return this October. Thanks so much for a great holiday ❤️
