普萊特區酒店

Ganz neues, sehr schönes Hotel. Super freundliches Personal. Es war der Geburtstag meines Mannes und das Personal hatte sehr liebevoll dekoriert. So etwas hsben wir noch nie erlebt. Das Frühstück im The Sanctuary Restaurant war sehr gut. Ein kleines, aber ausreichendes Buffet und man konnte Extras wie z.B. Eggs Benedikt (die waren übrigens perfekt!) dazu bestellen. Super zuvorkommendes Personal und der Manager Nico hatte immer ein paar nette Worte. In der Skybar mit einem wunderbaren Blick über Plettenberg Bay haben wir immer unseren Sundower Drink genommen. Dieses Hotel können wir nur empfehlen!

In a prime location in Plettenberg Bay. Rooms with partial sea views are in the basement, but rooms are beautiful and very large. Equipped with coffee machine, kettle and television. The pool deck is incredible! A view over the whole bay. The breakfast and dinner are extremely tasty. The staff very accommodating and friendly. The hotel is a recommendation, we would like to come back. Small improvement: The room doors have to be quieter when you close them.

We booked a luxury suite, and I asked when I made the reservation, for a special room with view as it was my birthday. When we checked in and got handed our keys, reception said we are booked in an economy room??? I corrected the receptionist and told her it was a luxury suite. Our room was on the lower ground level, with a very limited sea view and just one floor up from the car park with a view into the neighbour's back yard. The luxury suite did not feel like a luxury suite, other than the coffee machine in the room. The noise levels in the hotel, especially in the morning, is horrendous. We asked for turndown service, which did not happen. When we returned after being out for the entire day, leaving the hotel at 08h30am, our room was not serviced. The location is great, the staff is super friendly, the buffet breakfast is good, but for what we paid for 2 nights, I think there are better options in Plett.

It is a nice hotel, very close to the beach. It has a great pool on the roof. And it has a really good kitchen. We went to couple other restaurants, but surprisingly we ate the best steaks in a hotel restaurant (actually it was one of the best in our whole trip!!!). And the staff is very nice. Unfortunately there is quite a busy road near the hotel.

The Plett Quarter is on the Main Street of Plettenderg. It is new and clean. we upgraded to a room with an outside window rather than an internl room which we felt would have been very claustraphobic for 3 nights. The room was quite large, it was clean and the showr was good. Breakfast was good and the meal we had on the terrace was good although some form of lighting needs to be put in so that you can see what you are eating better.

We stayed here for 3 nights whilst visiting Plettenberg Bay. The hotel was lovely and clean, the staff were so helpful. The breakfast was amazing. The hotel is situated in the main town, which has some lovely shops and restaurants nearby. We were a little nervous at walking out at night at first and one of the staff Vjay escorted us to our restaurant. The beach is about a15-minuten walk but it's very hilly on the way back up so we drove down on the 2nd day as it was too hot. We got taxis to the further out resturants.
