Beds were extremely hard. Tv didn’t work at first and smoke alarm was going off sporadically until maintenance came to fix. They charged me a $100 deposit and told me it would automatically be returned to my card. After several days of waiting my card issuer says they completed the transaction without refunding my deposit. Definitely not worth the sore back and possible loss of deposit.

Got us in at last minute. Staff was polite. Hotel has potential, but seems like it's in the middle of renovations that are not yet done. The pillows were the absolute worst of any hotel I've been at in a long time. There were only two per bed which were tiny and flat.

Refrigerator, phone, hair dryer, and TV did not work. Carpet was stained and dirty. Front drawer panel in the bathroom was missing. The office chair was broken and couldn’t be sat in safely.

We paid $118/night for a hotel that is listed on their website as $55/night. There was blood on the wall in our room. Toilet hardly flushed. Absolutely disgusting. If we hadn’t prepaid we should have left immediately. Plan to seek refund if possible. Do not recommend

I booked my son and his family a week's stay at this motel for a getaway because they have two other roommates and they don't ever have much privacy. I should mention that my son's wife and daughter are Latino. I paid with my credit card. While they were checking in, they grabbed a cart to put their luggage on. The owner grabbed it away from them and said it had to stay in the front by the desk. Otherwise, they checked in without incident. I received a text message in the middle of the night from my son, saying that they woke them up in the middle of the night and told them that they needed $100 EXTRA deposit or else they had to check out by 9 a.m. Keep in mind, the room for the entire week was already paid for. I called the front desk at 5 a.m. and the manager told me that I needed to call back at 9 a.m. I told him that he told my family they would need to vacate the room (I already paid for) by then unless I sent another $100. He just kept saying that he was asleep and I needed to call back. At 9 a.m. on the dot, I called and told him I shouldn't have had to put another $100 down as the room was paid for in full, but he said that the deposit was just in case there were damages to the room. He said that upon checkout, I would be refunded the $100. I gave him my debit card number and paid it. All seemed to be fine. The next night they said they were able to use the pool and relax (they both work two jobs, so I was happy they could enjoy some peaceful time with my granddaughter). They next three days they were told they could not use the pool because it was being maintained. The pool doors were open to others though. The next day they used the pool, they experienced such severe chemical burns, they could hardly sleep. They complained to the front desk and were told that it was their fault as they were told not to use the pool. Shouldn't the doors be locked if it was not safe to swim? During their week stay, housekeeping only came to clean and give them fresh towels and linens ONCE! They also NOT ONCE received the breakfast that their website says is included every morning during their stay. They checked out before 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 21st but I have yet to see my refunded $100. I telephoned the motel and spoke to the same man (who I assume is the manager/owner) and he said (from what I could make out as he has a thick accent) that the sheets were all dirty so my $100 was going to replace them? He said there was garbage all over the room. I know my family and KNOW that they are not messy people AT ALL!! In my opinion, the manager saw skin color and is prejudice against Latino people. I have filed complaints against this motel for their dangerous facility, lack of advertised amenities, and racism. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS MOTEL!!!! ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A PERSON OF COLOR!!!!

I enjoyed my stay at the Plover Super 8 last week. The room was clean, the staff was very friendly and we we given a recommendation by the staff for breakfast the next morning. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is staying in the Stevens Point area.

Don't look at the outside of building..needs some cleaning up. Room was nice, updated probably 6-8 years ago. Breakfast minimal. Quiet stay. Located near a kwik trip, otherwise nothing on that exit, but close to other things 5 min drive .

It was decent for the price. Pool area is a little small and there is no sauna or hot tub. Our bathroom door didn't close and stayed open about 3-4 inches lol. Beds were pretty hard and stiff.

It was clean and quiet. It's an exit south of the main drag and all the restaurants, but a short drive, ~5 min. There is a Kwik Trip across the street and another hotel but nothing else around it. Room was good!

The staff was not there when I enter and so I called the front desk like it said and he came out to answer the phone but it wasn’t my phone call he picked up. He also did t greet me or pay any attention to me until he was done with the other phone call. He didn’t knowledge me in person even before he picked up the phone. Also when he did he didn’t say hello or anything. I had to speak first and say checking in. He didn’t say much after too, like have a nice stay or anything. Just gave me my receipt cause I asked for it and that was it. No speaking or telling me anything.

The young man working at the hotel is kind and respectful. The older man, is very rude. The first time we stayed a couple weeks ago he was attempting to get in our room 30 minutes before checkout and kept telling us it was time to go ! I decided to give it another try and this time he went about 15 minutes before our checkout time and kept insisting us to open the door even though we were half dressed ! Luckily he couldnt get in because we had the inside door lock put on. That man has no limits ! Absolutely awful experience. We will never be staying at this hote again , and i will never be recommending it to anyone ! 0 stars !!!!

We had stayed here a few months ago and it seemed like they were renovating so we tried to be understanding about the less than stellar state of things. This time, though, as soon as we walked into the room there was a horrible undersmell like urine. We told the staff and they said to wait, it would get better, that it was a newly installed heating unit. They didn't offer us another room. The next morning we found a live BEDBUG in the bed, and I have welts on my arm from being bitten. We took the bug and showed them and they gave us another (please let it have been bedbugless but I don't know) room. We were there for four nights and there was NO cleaning or trash collection in the room at all. The toilet wouldn't flush, but my fiance fixed that, thankfully (and didn't charge them for it!). No towel racks by the sinks and the shower sprayed all over the floor no matter how we turned the sprayer. The first room had unfinished drywall and painting. To be sure and not take home bedbugs we have to wash and dry and freeze everything we had in the room when we get home. It wasn't worth the physical and emotional discomfort. We would have left if they would have given us a refund.. Next time we will go to the Best Western across the road.
