Great location on the Barbican and a ‘seafaring’ theme to breakfast-well cooked.

If you are looking for a small friendly hotel within easy walking distance of The Barbican and Plymouth Hoe, this one comes highly recommended. However, should you wish to park overnight then the hosts, Rob and Sue can provide a parking permit free of charge. The hotel itself was very well appointed and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Rob and Sue were very welcoming and friendly. Although no cooked breakfast was available there was a good selection of cereals, fruit, yoghurts, fruit juice and toast with either tea or coffee. I would thoroughly recommend the Barbican Reach Hotel and would not hesitate to return.

This is our 2nd stay at the Barbican Reach at Plymouth and it was as brilliant as our first time. Everywhere is spotlessly clean, the rooms are comfortable and self contained and if you need anything Sue and Rob are only to pleased to help. Sue and Robs breakfasts are also fantastic their scrambled eggs are something not to miss. Sue and Rob are so welcoming. A lovely guesthouse, perfectly located to enjoy the Barbican. Our room and ensuite were spotlessly clean, comfortable and quiet. Sue and Rob are wonderful hosts. Parking permits can be arranged, contact directly to sort prior to your stay. We enjoyed a breakfast specialty which was a lovely change from the usual. Rob also assisted me with a hillstart driving lesson in the new fancy wheels. We would be happy to recommend the Barbican Reach and would love to stay here again.

A very nice B&B! The owners are extremely accommodating. Rob explains the sights in the city of Plymouth in great detail with directions and where to find the best food for every taste. The location of the B&B is ideal and is centrally located in the old town (near the harbor / Barbican), yet the location is very quiet at the foot of Hoe Park. Rob was also very helpful in explaining the parking situation. Both were happy to answer any other questions. The rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast was excellent, especially the specialties created by Rob himself. We highly recommend trying every single creation, it's definitely worth it! In addition, there is of course the traditional breakfast, which was also very good. A visit to the famous Plymouth Gin Distillery, which is just around the corner, is definitely recommended. This B&B is strongly recommended and we would certainly choose it again for our next stay in Plymouth.

First time we've stayed with Sue and Rob, but it was one of the most welcoming, friendly stays we've had. Nothing was too much trouble they couldn't do enough for us to make our stay comfortable. Even when the oven and grill broke Rob still managed to cook a hearty breakfast for Helen and me and the other guests. The cooker was replaced the next day with a new one. The guest house is spotlessly clean and tidy. Before we left we booked for next year. Well done Sue and Rob.

Have been here a few times now. Because it is just the best around Plymouth. Very short walk to the Barbican and Hoe. Very clean, comfortable and the breakfasts are just perfectly cooked. The parking is on street and we have never had a problem with space. Best to book directly with this B&B and the parking is sorted for you.

Great location just up a cobbled street from the main quayside. Very friendly welcome to our room overlooking the front street which was very quiet. Clean and tidy and comfy. Good breakfast to send us on our way in the morning. Kindly looked after our bags for a few hours while we wandered round Plymouth during the day. Thank you
