來自住宿之回應: Dear Arnie, As the hotel owner I will be totally factual and transparent with my response to your review in replying to your comments: • The toilet roll holder sits on top of the stand that holds the toilet brush. • All the televisions in the hotel are Smart Digital TV’s. The digital transmission is a much stronger signal. It was noted that you were trying to view an analog channel that has limited reception. For your information, Freeview digital channels start from 101 onwards. • The confirmation email promotes the restaurant. Guests can pre-book the restaurant for evening meals. No bookings result in no evening chef on duty. • During your stay with us, you observed that there were two couples waiting to be seated in the Lounge for breakfast. One couple were waiting for their friends to join them. The second couple, like you, had a dog with them, and decided not to be seated alongside you after witnessing your dog’s aggressive attitude, and nipping, biting a member of my staff. I also had the unpleasant experience of your dog when I showed you how to open the window in your room, snarling and snapping at my face. • You also stated that you were rushed at breakfast. I find that incredible to believe when CCTV clearly shows that you occupied a table for two and a quarter hours and no other member of staff dared to approach the table in fear of getting bitten. However I did ask you if you required additional tea or coffee at which point you declined. • You stated to a member of staff that there was insufficient parking and that your wife was disabled. Blue Badge holders can use on-street parking at no charge. You could have also requested a parking space in the car park. May I suggest when visiting other hotels, restaurants, guest houses, etc… that you communicate any issues or grievances you may encounter before you leave. These can then be rectified and both guest and owners are satisfied and happy. This goes a long way into making your stay more pleasant. On another note I’m sure you forgot to mention on check-out the unwanted present your dog left in the room. Our Terms and Conditions clearly state that “excessive soling may result in additional charges being levied against the guests”. Unfortunately the card that you logged with your booking was declined.
