Definitely not a 5 star hotel. It was super expensive easter package we took. Unfortunately, everything did not worth even 30% of what we paid. The apartment we took needs renovation. Bathroom was terrible to shower, mirror too far away from sink. Cheap breakfast and dinner menu, even we found mold in the black break, they did not change it! Also the fish was cheap mackerel with tomato sauce…. There was no option for tap water at dinner. Spa was fine, but the jacuzzi did not work properly. Also no juice or water with fruits as in all 5 stars hotels’s Spa. I would give 5 stars to the kid’s corner and the bartender (great cocktails at reception!).

The hotel is in nice location, good facilities, however the maintenance is poor. Broken towel racks, not enough towels, glass shower door broken, falling over the guest, sewage smell in bathrooms. Visible damages inside and outside the hotel building. This is not 5-star resort, overrated. The staff is kind and accommodating, doing their best to make guest's stay pleasant. The upper management must do better job to keep the resort up to the level which is rated. Will not come back.

We had a private villa: your own jacuzzi, your own place to sunbathe, no noise around - just you relaxing! The cuisine is very tasty. The staff are as nice as they can be. Just go and unstress from everything that won't let you be you! Take a cocktail on the infinity pool, have a deep massage and enjoy!

The staff was friendly But, buffet Very disappointed, we had an upset stomach, we had to ask for toilet paper, broken shower, noise isolation between walls poor, poorly cleaned room, in my experience it deserves three stars George T

Fantastic relaxing spa hotel, wonderful mineral baths with private jacuzzi with each Villa. Great service, the breakfast was the best. Easy access to the forest walls next door. Needs a few upgrades as the wood decks look warm. Definitely the place to visit for a total relaxing wind down.

This was my second visit to Medite Spa Resort & Villas and it will probably be my last. It is simply not worth the money and it definitely does not provide the quality you would expect from a 5-star hotel. Let's start with the positive things - great location and a fantastic view of the city from the infinity pool, and friendly staff as well. The food was good too. Now the negative things - the room we stayed in needed big repairs. The bathroom had a lot of mold in it, the toilet seat was broken, it had broken tiles as well. On top of that - the view from the room was actually a view of a construction field - they are expanding the hotel and of course, they didn't finish doing that on time... Overall not a bad place to stay in, but it is definitely not giving you the quality you would expect from a 5-star hotel...

It’s not on par with other 5 star hotels. The pool and spa areas are great and there’s a lifeguard on duty. Breakfast was fine but dinner was poor. Weird and poorly prepared dishes and poor hygiene from the guests. It seems that there’s a lot of potential but the direction and overall attitude isn’t clear.

A fantastic location with great pools and very helpful staff

Very satisfied with our stay, the food was delicious and various, the room was clean, the outdoor pools and spa center as well. Amazing front office very polite and nice. Definitely would visit again!

The hotel after their innovations is clean and good looking I highly recommend is huddle with your visit Borovets, I am presently satisfied, as I have been in the hotel before the renovations, and I might say that they did it well, despite area is nice and clean and has a lot of features. Also another big part is that the hotel is just near to the ski slides..

This was our first stay at the resort- we stayed 3 nights here between Christmas and New Year and will definitely come again in 2023. The hotel is great, modern amenities and facilities. But the biggest assest to the hotel is its staff. Every member of the staff was helpful, friendly, accomodating and made our stay perfect. The only downside of the otherwise spacious and comfortable room was the lack of electrical sockets near the only mirror and I couldn't use my hair styler. When I mentioned this to a member of the staff ( a security guy I think) , the problem was solved immediately by an extension lead. Restaurant staff were great too, smiley, friendly and efficient. Both myself and my daughter are really fussy eaters but we couldn't be happier with the filleted fish, kids friendly pasta, the baked goat cheese is fantastic and so is the pan fried trout! I had chicken scaloppine on my last night, recommended by our waiter and it was superb. All reasonably priced. We had great massages too. Many thanks to my masseuse- Ralitsa. Blagoy Blagoev, the guest relations manager, couldn't be more helpful- from assisting my 7 year old daughter at the breakfast buffet to ordering taxis for us when out in town. this hotel is by no means worthy of 5 stars. Our room was miserably constructed and disgustingly maintained. we had dozens of dead insects and flies in the room. The toilets were not clean, there were hairs all over the bed and floor. There were mold spots on the corners of the shower stalls. the breakfast buffet was extremely cheap. low-quality coffee, unripe fruit, and eggs, meat, and baked goods that are too greasy. the wellness area has been designed marginally. no scents in the steam room or sauna. for this size of hotel, this concept is extremely borderline. The entire building is dilapidated and obsolete. probably 10-20 years ago it was idyllic and homely. now it resembles a run-down domicile.
