曼特拉傳統酒店(Mantra Heritage)

L hôtel est très bien situé donnant sur la rue principale de Port Douglas, il a beaucoup de potentiel avec ses jardins tropicaux entourant les piscines mais est malheureusement vieillissant et mal entretenu La chambre est le point noir de mon expérience dans cet hôtel, non seulement elle est très vieillotte et nécessite des rafraîchissements mais en plus la propreté laisse à désirer, il y avait de la poussière partout, des poils sur le lit de la moisissure dans la douche , en plus le ménage n est pas fait quotidiennement comme attendu dans un hôtel et cela n est pas dit lors de la réservation mais seulement 3 jours avant l arrivée. Il y a très peu de prises et aucune prise près de la tête du lit, pire encore il n y a aucun moyen d éteindre les lumières depuis le lit, même les lampes de chevets n ont pas de bouton et doivent être débranchées pour être éteintes, il y a des stores occultants aux fenêtres mais peu efficaces puisqu il y a des espaces entre les stores qui laissent entrer la lumière mais aussi les stores étant face au climatiseur cela les fait bouger et fait du bruit toute la nuit! Il serait bien plus efficace et moins bruyant ( et plus joli par ailleurs), d voir des rideaux occultants plutôt que ces horribles stores. Enfin, il y a une petite terrasse très sympa et qui donne directement dans la piscine ce qui pourrait être top si la piscine était propre !

Perfect location right in the middle of Port Douglas right next to bars, restaurants, chemist and supermarket. Lovely spacious apartment over the pool area, the apartments over the street are not so good as no view of lovely lagoon pool. (request pool view) The staff were fantastic especially Eddie, he helped us with a couple of things and he was great. The large lagoon pools are beautiful to look at but both were very cold. We were here for 10 nights and it was cold as the whole time. They say that it is solar heated but it is not working. I am used to cold water but not that cold. The only other thing that we did not fancy and it is not the staff's fault at all, is, there are way too many stairs everywhere. Stairs to the pool, stairs to bbq, seventeen stairs to get up to Macrossan Street. I get asthma so it wasn't ideal for us. There are lifts up to the apartments which are good. Wouldn't recommend over 60 stay, difficult getting in and out of pool as well.

We stayed here with two other families. The location is perfect, you can easily walk to fabulous restaurant and the beach. They also had a company come out with reptiles and birds that the children could learn about and hold which was great. However for the price it really needs to be updated. I never seen anyone or even a creepy crawler cleaning the pool the whole seven days we were there, furniture in the room was old and outdated - our couch was so uncomfortable. The king bed was two singles pushed together and you could feel the gap in the middle. Rooms need to be fixed and repainted. Our friends rooms were missing bowls and cups, we never got any face washers and had to ask for fresh towels after a fours days which seemed like an issue for the reception staff. No swim up bar, the pool with the 'waterfall' was missing all half the stones from the wall...for the price everyone was paying surely it could be updated.

My stay was good but I guess a bit disapointing for the fact that the room was not so spacious, and that the swimming pool was not a swimming pool but just a basin to refresh your self, deep of 1.1m only. I also did not excpet that my bed and towels have not been changed in five days, but this is what the receptionnist said to me about this hotel. Concerning the location, it is very good but the city is so small that it could not be different than good.

The hotel was good value and in a prime location in Port Douglas. The room was spacious and the bed was super comfy. We enjoyed our stay and would book this hotel again. My only issue was the rooms were not cleaned very well on initial check-in.

Great location right on the main street and lovely pool and BBQ area. The rooms in the dual-key one bedroom apartment were large with plenty of room to spread out. The spa on the balcony was an added bonus.

We stayed for a couple of days in 1401. It was nice but a bit dated. The photos didn’t fully match the room. It was a perfect location for us and the price was reasonable. The pools were good but no back jets on the spas just bubbles under you. Nice outdoor kitchen

Pros- location,room nicely appointed, access to pools and friendly staff cons- pool and spa dirty needed cleaning We mentioned it to reception and they told us it was to be cleaned that day and it never happened), too much light from external light coming into bedroom even with blind down, stained cushions on lounge and had to ask daily for toilet paper, detergent and fresh towels and stayed 3 nights.

Tiny room with no furniture except a lumpy queen bed. No bath. Right next to kids screaming in the swimming pool and no soundproofing. Still make you pay for wifi and even when you do it’s not enough to stream 1 TV show. Stay at a motel instead, don’t bother with this garbage place.
