伊麗莎白港麗笙酒店(Radisson Blu Hotel, Port Elizabeth)

Great location, right across the street from the beach. Also close to several shopping areas. Room was clean and service was excellent. Buffet breakfast was fantastic.

Our stay was fine for one night. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast excellent. Other than that, the place could use some maintenance and staff seems a bit disorganized. It was a let down compared to the amazing Radisson in JoBerg.

Hotel is clean , well positioned, a walk to the beach front . Staff friendly and very helpful

Check in experience was not good. Had booked 4 rooms total. Was told I only had 2 rooms. Front desk did not do anything to solve the problem and totally dismissed the fact that I had confirmation numbers. They were even rude to the ********** staff that tried to contact the hotel to resolve the issue. ********** staff was even hung up on. It took several phone calls to resolve it. Meanwhile my traveling party sat in a cold reception area freezing until it could be resolved. Many of the lights did not work in the rooms once we got to the rooms. One room did not have running water. Some plugs did not work. The elevators were very slow and not conducive to accommodate a hotel that size or the amount of people staying there. The fire escapes and stairwells were in horrible condition. Most were blocked or had looked as though homeless people were living in the stair wells. Half eaten food and trash were littering the stairs. Ropes and poles were blocking access to one of the floors. Doors were locked. Basically if there was a fire many people would have died. The building is a death trap. The amenities were not 5 stars. And definitely you do not get what you pay for. I will say thought the staff in the restaurant was accommodating on a very late night. And the security guard was very friendly. The hotel is refunding a one nights stay because we had to check out early.

It was not so pleasant as there was an electricity issue in the area their generator was not working well and some plugs, air conditioners and Tv were not working and on top of that they arenot doing anything to apologise to us as guests who paid full price for poor service and ny room was not cleaned and when i reported it was not taken serious instead trying to find a way to blame me. Management is needs to improve and also communicating with their guests.

it was our first break in over 2 years and we were highly excited to be coming to Gqeberha and to stay at our favourite hotel in Gqeberha The wonderful Raddison Blu. OMG this hotel is so poorly run compared to our last stay, the reception was luke warm, the room was grubby and the door stuck, we were accused of keeping an iron that we used which in fact we had put back outside our room as instructed, the breakfast area was shocking, we arrived each day around 9:30 and there was no cleaning done on the floors, every day we had to clean our seats and surrounding floor area from the mess, the tables were not cleaned thoroughly and the floor managers never greet their guests, there is no sense of a warm environment any more as all the personality has been removed from the breakfast experience we expected, we can see that there is a lot of work experience employee's which is great but they need much better training as we are paying guests not a training school, as example we saw a youngster flipping eggs using her fingers OMG, another youngster cleaning the foor was just going through the motions and not really paying attention, basically this Raddison is devoid of good management and supervision character and warmth I could go but overall if this hotel is a mess and is by far, by far the worst Radisson we have ever used.

I would expect that the Radisson Blu Hotel will live up to its brand name but unfortunately not. The staff were amazing but the room itself. Booked for a superior room but was given a standard room, not even a couch chair to sit on. Only 1 pillow on the bed and hairdryer was broken with wires exposed to shock a person. Tv remote didn't work, housekeeping could not resolve so was told to manually change channels and volume. Requested for another iron as the 1st one didn't work as well.
