What a great spot. We stayed in the part of the park closest to the beach. Park and facilities clean. Took our dog with no hassles. Pub and general store less than 50m walk. Pub had outdoor area where dogs welcome. Will be back but next time for longer!

It’s a very end of earth to escape to and rejuvenate. The owners and staff are very welcoming,they make me feel like part of the family. The cabins have everything you need.Back to basic is where we need to be grounded sometimes.Simply things in life is to be embraced.

We stayed for three days at beachfront site, the Caravan park is well maintained and managed, staff are very friendly and helpful Tavern is only a short stroll and the food was great. Absolutely loved our stay and definitely will book again and again.

Aug 30 - 1 Sep. The staff and park are lovely, and Port Hughes and the beach are beautiful. We had a meal at the General Store, outside of Tavern kitchen hours, that was very generous in size, and the location to the park easy walking distance. Cabin 1, was clean and tidy and the beds firm but comfortable. The fridge motor was quite loud, sounding like it was on its way out, so I'd ask if thats been changed before staying in that particular cabin (annoyingly noisy). Also worth noting that the pictures show recliners (yay), but, though probably to be expected, only 1 of the 4 chairs in this cabin actually reclined (boo). Other than that, its was a nice little place to get away to. We'd stay again.

Great place to stay. We could take our fur baby with us and she could even stay in the cabin with us. Friendly staff and very helpful. Have come back again and will return for more holidays. Beach access is great and so is the pool area. Very enjoyable place to stay.

The unpowered grassy sites were first class The pool and amenities were second to none Absolutely loved everything about this caravan park. Access to the beautiful beach was thoughtfully done on a boardwalk with signs educating you about the shore life Port Hughes is a really beautiful part of the world

Recently I wrote a review about the park for which wrongly by me I named the park manager. This was the wrong thing to do and I do apologise. The manager did call me to clarify a few issues for which I was very appreciative of. Firstly I mentioned the condition of the amenities, how old they are. This as it was explained to me has nothing to do with the owners of the park, it actually comes under the council so it is out of their hands. Secondly was the matting on the sites. These are in the process of being replaced and will be completed shortly. I did appreciate the manager calling me to sort things out and to explain not only her position but also the park owners position. The Park Managers have a very hard job upholding all the rules of the park but they are there for our safety and everyone else that enters the park

Nice caravan park, good activities for children, beautifull beach. Unpowered sites are mostly with no grass, so not ideal for the price due to dust and dirty in the area. Bathrooms are usually dirty. Even in a public holiday, bathrooms were not cleaned often, which was very disappointing.

Good park but one thing was the problem in that we would usually get discount at Big 4 being Gday members but that obviously is different in SA? Also to have to return to the main park to return the key was an issue that surely could be remedied when one is towing a caravan??!! Otherwise quite a nice park.

Great park, close to everything in Port Hughes. Amenities were clean, camp kitchen and bbq area were spotlessly clean.Great pool and private access to a beautiful stretch of beach!!Park has plenty of accommodation options, I had a powered site which was tidy.Will definitely return.

Great staff, great Melbourne Cup lunch provided and sweeps. Friendly people who go over and above to make your stay welcome. We had plenty of room on our site, facilities very clean and tidy. Pool excellent to swim i and beautifully maintained. No hesitation in recommending and we will visit again

We stayed on the water front in our van, nice spot except can here the fridge running at the tavern all the time and back of the taverns not nice. Some of our family stayed at the larger park, Very dissapointed with the lack of grass, it's a dust pit. It's not the out back. Pools nice and good playground for kids, but so dusty. The cabin they stayed in was average, just plonked in the dirt, no grass. I wouldn't stay in the top park.

Worst communication. Never answered phone calls. Took two weeks to call back. Failed to read emails and answer questions. Falsely advertised Spa rooms that weren't even complete. Lied about reasons. Sad, considering the park was at a great place.

The staff in the office were welcoming pleasant and helpful The amenities quite new but there was very little evidence of a good cleaning process. I was bery disappointed at the state of a new camp kitchen no utensils or cleaning products provided tables beach tops and floor needed a good scrub
