We loved staying at Ana Mandara, great spot on the river to watch dolphins swim by as sun sets. Leo was a superb host, there if we needed anything. We had dinner first night and was restaurant quality. Breakfast each morning, a different delicious selection. Convenient location, super comfortable bed this was one of our favourite places we’ve ever stayed in.

Ana Mandara was a quiet and peaceful place to stay overlooking the river. Cooked breakfast on the balcony overlooking the river was delightful. The seafood banquet we had at dinner was fantastic and the host Leo was very hospitable and accommodating.

The overall service was excellent. In particular the attention to detail in every aspect of our stay. Breakfast was amazing. We chose Ana Mandara because it advertised accessible accommodation and in regard to this, it did not disappoint. I would highly recommend Ana Mandara to anyone with mobility issues.

Mit viel Liebe zum Detail und sehr viel Engagement und Herzlichkeit bereitet Leo ein besonderes Aufenthaltserlebnis auf höchstem Niveau - dazu zaubert er als gelernter Koch auch wunderbare Köstlichkeiten aus der Küche. Einfach phantastisch!

We have stayed here twice in November 23, first time on the way to Byron Bay (1 night) then on the way back (2 nights)to Sydney. Very relaxing place, it’s a very short drive from town which makes everything at hand. Comfortable room, with noisy but fun birds all around the grounds. Parking is easy. We would definitely stay here next time we are in the area.

What a pleasure it is to stay at Ana Mandara. The rooms are beautifully prepared and the surroundings are picturesque. Sitting on the deck overlooking the river with a cold drink watching dolphins swim past, so relaxing. Leo is a friendly attentive host and a great chef. The evening meal (if required) was perfectly cooked.

Excellent property. Wonderful stay. Everything was perfect. Even the dolphins swimming by at sunset to show off their playful antics as we sipped wine and soaked in a spa. Attention to detail and service 5 star. Friendly host and amazing food. I Highly recommend.

A lovely place on the river and a very comfortable room in a clean, modern B&B. Leo called us while we were driving to Port Macquarie and offered us an early check in. It came in very handy, since we were arriving early. He was very accommodating and friendly. We enjoyed our stay at Ana Mandara and would definitely stay again if ever in the area.
