灣景酒店(Bayview Hotel)

Stayed in one of the junior suites which gave us an amazing view of the sea and surrounding bay. Room was excellent and spotless and a very modern clean feel throughout the room. Staff were warm and welcoming and made us very relaxed. The overall experience is marked down due to the restaurant experience and can only describe it like booking a Ryanair flight you think you are getting a great price but then discover all the hidden charges that come with it. The majority of the food has a supplement charge against it ranging from £2 to £7, so if you book the room with an evening meal option be prepared to have to add additional money when checking out. However the food is at an excellent standard

Check in/check out - effortless, efficient and reception staff met you with an hello and a chat. Hotel/room - this is one of the most pristine and cleanest hotels I have visited, everything is so fresh and modern with decor easy on the eye. Rooms (stayed on the second floor) and it was so spacious with comfortable bed, large shower, sofa and nice touches provided like dressing gown/ slippers, water in the fridge, crisps/ biscuits and coffee machine. Everything was spotless in the room. Restaurant/bar - comfortable atmosphere with good views across the road to the sea, open fire is a nice touch on a winters night. Dinner was a mixed bag, starter of seafood chowder and another of chicken wings were outstanding and full of flavour, however main course of fish was overcooked batter and too crispy and the garlic fries lacked garlic and were too dry. The other main of chicken was excellent but again let down with the garlic fries. Breakfast however presented no issues with a wide variety of both continental and cooked options available, not just the usual fry up here, so many varied options like eggs Benedict or eggs Royale and both superb. Staff in the restaurant are polite, attentive and professional at all times. Location of this hotel is fantastic and car parking available to residents - I would return to this hotel in a heartbeat and definitely one that provides value for money!

Our 2 day trip up the coast was made absolutely perfect by choosing to stay here. Completely faultless. Every single member of staff was exceptional. Our room was perfect, with a gorgeous snowy view over the bay. The food was unbelievably good and excellent value for money. Can't wait to return in Feb. Do not hesitate to book this fabulous hotel AND eat the most amazing food.

We stayed here on one night an overnight stay as a last minute trip to visit the causeway coast. From start to finish it was an excellent stay. The bedroom was very spacious & it was a lovely touch to have complimentary crisps, water, nespresso & cookies. The Rituals products in the bathroom were lovely. We ate in the restaurant & had a really good meal. The breakfast was delicious with everything freshly cooked to order. Staff were so friendly. Thanks for a great stay. It’s a perfect location for visiting the causeway coast

The Bayview hotel is a small hotel in Portballintrae in a fantastic location from which you can walk to the Giant’s Causeway. We had a spacious and well equipped room looking out on the bay. We also really enjoyed the delicious cooked to order breakfasts.

Excellent hotel & restaurant in a prime location. Booking and food, second to none. Poor management and organisation left an extremely understaffed kitchen not to mention the 1 waitress taking all food orders for a busy restaurant. Thankfully our second visit on the 30th made up for it.

Went to the restaurant for lunch and was very impressed by the range of vegetarian and vegan options!! Very uncommon so have so many choices so i was very happy! Had a (quite spicy!) thai curry and some onion rings which were delicious!! Fast service and polite staff!

Warm welcome. Lovely room overlooking the bay. Very comfy bed. Great food in the evening and the breakfasts surpassed those of a nearby hotel. Nice to see the boss around too. Would thoroughly recommend but but book for dinner as both weekend nights were busy.

Gorgeous room. Gorgeous scones. The yummiest dinner. Great service and really helpful pleasant staff. Cant wait to go back.
