Close to Chesil Beach I was looking for a place close to both Chesil Beach and the Verne Citadel as I would like to go on walks and do some photography. The Aqua is both of those things. It is quiet and the staff is friendly and helpful.

The receptionist / bartender/ waitress (Sian) was really friendly and efficient, handling a large dining group, customers at the bar and a late check in, but still find time to have a chat as we bellied up to the bar for drinks.

Brilliant hotel in Portland! Lovely rooms. Great hosts and very good food. There’s everything you need here for a luxury stay. Great for families on holiday and perfect for anyone visiting the national sailing academy. Best hotel in the area!

Good location for Portland Harbour watersports and good value for money given a full breakfast was included in the price

May be basic, but always very clean and tidy, comfortable bed too! Nice hot shower, clean bathroom, evening meals, a cafe and a well stocked bar. Nice Breakfast included too, cereal and full english Well done again Martin! see you again soonish

The location of the Hotel is ok if you are taking part in any of the local activities like Diving , water sports and hiking but if just on a break then it’s a bit isolated with very little to do unless you take part in the above , we took the bus to Weymouth a couple of times only £2 each one way . The hotel dining room and bar are clean and well decorated, the in the price breakfast was ok with a choice of a cooked ( buffet) or cereal no issues it was ok , the bar and kitchen staff were friendly and willing to chat and give advice on the local area , our room was adequate for a short stay , it was clean with fresh towels and bedding with the house keeping being done daily , my only niggle was the 3 areas of damp in our room , one above the head of the bed , another above the window and the third below the windowsill, after opening the curtains each morning there was flaked paint on the floor which was cleaned up by the housekeeper this should be addressed as soon as , overall this hotel in my opinion is ok for 2-3 days .

A group of us used this hotel as a base to go scuba diving from Portland marina and it is really convenient for that. The rooms were clean and had everything that you would expect and are good value for money. The buffet breakfast was more than sufficient to set you up for the day. The staff were very helpful and friendly and we're always available in case you had any issues. We ate in the bar one night. There isn't a lot of food choices in this area so the fact that they do food is nice, its convenient and good value for money - I had pie and chips, which was nice. Overall I would recommend staying here if you hope to explore the Portland and Chesil beach area or are diver.

Dyrt i forhold til hvad man får for pengene. Beskidt på værelset, ikke særlig god morgenmad og elendige parkeringsforhold. Alt - alt - for få pladser tilknyttet hotellet. P vagter tjekker alle ugens syv dage. Måske kan man få en plads, men så skal der betales.

Clean, quiet, staff seem friendly enough and it’s very different to hotels I’ve been to in the past.
