石南酒店(Heathman Hotel)

We stay downtown Portland once or twice a month and this is the first time we've stayed at the Heathman. We will absolutely be back. We couldn't hear the traffic noise from outside on the 7th floor. We couldn't hear any other guests. The beds were very comfortable with a choice of firm or soft pillows. The room and hotel was very clean but I will say the floor was sticky like they need to rinse the cleaner off. That's the only negative thing I can find though. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The tavern food was delicious. The Brian the bartender at the bar made delicious drinks. I can't wait to plan our next trip so we can stay here again. We stayed in a king corner suite with 2 bathrooms! It had a living room area and walk-in closet. It was a great price for what we got.

Our room was on the 5th floor and we are a bit confused about the designation of VIP Access. We did not get offered anything that looked like VIP. Our room was nice, big, with windows but they looked into a wall. Bathroom set up was terrific for 2 people because there was a vanity with a sink outside the main bathroom-toilet area. The location couldn’t have been more perfect.

This was a very nice hotel. It was clean and well appointed. The resort fee was pretty high and all that was really usable to us was the $10 credit at the bar. We had questions regarding the location of shops, etc. and the staff wasn't very knowledgeable so were not helpful about this. But overall, this was an excellent location to explore downtown Portland and we would stay there again.

This hotel is absolutely charming near the theater district. We simply lucked out and will be back. It has been remodeled so the bathroom shower water closet area is a little small but they created a huge shower. Everyone was wonderful. The food at the restaurant was fantastic. It is a walking urban downtown area.

My wife and I stayed at the Heathman for four nights, and I would definitely go back should we be in Portland again. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the valet service was top notch. The room was lovely (with one exception, noted below), and the hotel itself is centrally located in downtown Portland, and in beautiful shape, particularly in the common areas. My only small issue was on check in (we got in at around 11 pm after a long flight across North America) - there were crumbs on one of the beds, and hairs in both the bathroom sink and the bathtub. I don’t think the room had been given a full cleaning. I raised this with the front desk the next morning, and they profusely apologized, and sent someone up to do a refresh. Otherwise, a very enjoyable stay.

Our late check-in was quick. We were promised a bottle of wine (through *******) which wasn't offered at check-in but instead provided at check-out when we mentioned it. The King Guestroom was compact and comfortable. We would have explored The Library (a unique feature of the hotel) if we had more time. The final cost included an additional Guest Amenity Fee that covered Wi-Fi, coffee, bicycle rental, daily beverage service, fitness center, The Library, and a $5 Food and Beverage Credit, but partly due to the late check-in and short duration of our stay (one night) we didn't utilize these benefits. Recommended, overall.

********** never said it was ADA room but room I was assigned with tub was ADA room and tub had shower chair which was very disappointing and blackout curtains do not close all the way so was very bright in the morning

A/c didn’t work. I was hot all night. Bed sheets were scratchy and uncomfortable. Poor water pressure when flushing the toilet. Not worth what I paid and charged an amenity fee that I wasn’t aware of before hand. Staff was nice though and enjoyed the library and bar area

Hotel en buena ubicación pero con un mal y caro servicio de restaurante , el hotel tiene un olor a basura en el lobby y pésimo servicio de limpieza en las habitaciones y el frigo bar no funcionaba correctamente
