The stay was ok. Even with the privacy tag on the door, housekeeping would knock once and then just walk in. Also dinning in room. When we weren’t there even if we didn’t request them to pick up food trays that hadn’t been touched they would come in when we were out and take them away. Sounds silly but it happened the entire stay and housekeeping would try 3 or 4 times after saying we didn’t need it ti the same person. Front desk was kind at times. The restaurant staff so bartenders and servers at the Urban Farmer were wonderful. Even dealing with some crap guests. Didn’t even see them flinch. Imagine being a guest somewhere and thinking that because you’re a guest makes you above manners and politeness?! Urban Farmer used to be such a chill spot. Now I feel like I’m at a private school pta function and I’m the new parent in town from the city. It was such a mix of people for so long and there were always interesting conversations to be had. All I seemed to hear this time around was rudeness and privilege.

The Nines is a wonderful place to stay. The hotel is centrally located. The rooms are beautiful and well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful. The Urban Farmer has a terrific menu no matter what time of day you want a meal or drink. The lounges provide a great place to meet up with friends.

This was a recommendation and we’re so glad we stayed at the Nines. The rooms and facilities were amazing. The staff couldn’t be friendlier and we had a great experience in the rooftop bar, excellent service and great cocktails! We also had lunch at the on-site restaurant. Again, super friendly staff and great food. This was our first time in Portland we will most definitely stay here when we return.

Hotel was great. Friendly staff. Located close to Powell's bookstore and good restaurants. The area around the hotel was sketchy. Homelessness is a big issue. I would not suggest going out for a walk around the neighborhood in the evening.

Restored building very cool. The $58.00 a day to park was a bit much, but the parking service was excelent.

Valet parking and car delivery was flawless. Accomodated my request for early check in. Room had great view of Pioneer Courthouse Square.

Great hotel, very nice, great cocktails.

Our room: There was a wet spot on the carpet about 6 inches in diameter. The drapes are designed NOT to close all the way!!! Our city view room included a tall building across the street :( Their high end restaurant (called Departures) is highly overrated. While The Nines doesn't own the restaurant their staff still recommends it. The only thing high end about that restaurant are their prices. The food was VERY salty. The layout of the tables reminded me of a cafeteria. The waiter only showed up to take the order and deliver the check.
