We choose this property after arriving in Porto and our Airbnb was terrible and not in a safe area. This hotel was very clean and in a safe area. The staff was very helpful but they did not tell us some things that would have made our visit easier. We arrived and I went in to find out about parking. They quickly gave us the address of the garage near the property that they said they had an agreement with. However there is no agreement. You have to pay the full rate and the hotel does not do any validation. We left at 5am and it was not clear how you pay. They said there was an attendant at the garage in the office. There was no one there. There is a machine on the main level where you can pay, but it does not have an English translation. It did not give us a receipt so we "hoped" it would work. We did get out but it was a lot of ifs. Furthermore it would have been nice if they had suggested that we unload our luggage before parking, because the hotel is a steep incline from the parking and about a 15 mins walk. We selected a twin room since that is all they had left besides a suite. Our first room was nice but there was a leak between the bedroom area and the bathroom area. This bathroom area also had carpet. That in itself is not goid to have a bath area that gets wet with a shower and causes mildew. The leak only made it worse. However the staff was very quick to move us. The new room had a lot of electrical quirks and too narrow to fit between the bed and wall but was nice
