普茨茅斯市中心酒店(The Hotel Portsmouth - Downtown)

Hotel molto carino e ben arredato, molto comodo per raggiungere il centro del paese in pochi minuti a piedi. Camera spaziosa, aria condizionata un po’ rumorosa. Molto gentile la signora che ci ha accolto, un po’ meno la persona delle colazioni, non avevano nessuna scelta senza glutine.

Our stay at the property was enjoyable and easy to get to. Our room was clean as well as the common areas. The property managers were available to us and could not be more helpful.

Gorgeous and well-maintained with super friendly staff. Nice common spaces for hanging out and a nice eating area; especially appreciate the choice to have glass jugs and filtered water available vs plastic bottles in the room. Only drawbacks were the very strangely laid out bathroom in our king room (one of those showers where you have to go all the way in to turn on the- cold- water, and having to turn uncomfortably to reach TP from a sitting position) and how loudly footstep above trasmitted down. Overall, definitely recommend this place- would just not stay on the bottom floor next time :)

Hotel has lots of character and free parking. Walls are thin and you can hear everything from outside and inside the hotel. Bathroom is updated but very small.

Girls Saturday! Was able to check in early. Got texts welcoming us before we got there. Very friendly, welcoming. Free parking. We had the loft on the 4th floor. 2 twins and king. Couch and chairs to chat for a bit. Couch a bit dated up there and needs to be changed out but beds were fabulous and sooo comfy!! Great breakfast with overnight oats, yogurt parfaits and fruit cups. Coffee was delish and I am picky. No need to go to Starbucks down the street. Downtown Portsmouth stores and restaurants are 5 min walk. Came back to a warm fireplace. The Hotel of Portsmouth is a gem and will be back Thanks so much!!!

Location location location. Perfect walk ability Very clean and friendly staff. Highly recommend

Highly recommend THP, staff were wonderful, only a 5 min walk to main streets, building and rooms are beautifully kept. Elevators are rare in these old hotels so was glad to have one for luggage. We would definitely return. Roberts Maine Grill (15 min cab) is phenomenal seafood. Maison Navarre is authentic French cuisine and gifts - get the French Toast!
