Due to stay here in early March 2022 however received an email yesterday to say they’d now booked in maintenance work & the hotel will now be closed. My booking was made November 2021 & was part of a very special trip for us. If we had cancelled we would have lost our money however there was no offer of compensation, just that we would get a refund & they hoped to see us in the future!! Well, if you treat your customers like this, why would we book again? I would never be completely sure they wouldn’t cancel again. Be very aware of this happening to you, we feel like our booking was an inconvenience to them & albeit their reviews are very good, it’s why we booked in the first place, they actually don’t care that they cancelled our booking.
