A pleasant stay, good breakfast.

Our family of three, including two adults and a baby, recently stayed at On Clark Guest House. Our experience was truly delightful. The accommodations were clean and comfortable, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our family. The staff was exceptionally accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure our needs were met, especially with a baby in tow. The location was convenient, with easy access to local attractions and amenities. Overall, our stay at On Clark Guest House was a memorable and enjoyable experience, and we would highly recommend it to other families seeking a cozy and family-friendly place to stay.

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The linen was nice and the bed comfortable. However, many, many things were broken. The phone didn’t work, the wifi was weak and kept dropping, the shower rose was extremely faulty, paint and plaster was bubbling and peeling off the walls in several places in the bathroom and bedroom. The toilet roll holder was broken, and the room in general was very dated, dark and felt dingy. At no point was I told about the condition of the room or all the things wrong with it. I was walked to the door and that was that. I don’t know if nobody has checked the room, or if perhaps they think that the quality of the room is perfectly fine, or if they don’t care. I’m not sure, but just the peeling and bubbling paint was so bad that there is no way they didn’t know the room and bathroom were looking they way they were, because hat degree of water damage takes months to get to that degree.

Five girls on a trip! The staff were very accommodating to our requests and assisted us without hesitation when we needed to add a guest at the last minute. Breakfast is hearty and there’s a lot to choose. Location is ideal and parking / entrance area is well maintained and demarcated.

I am a regular visitor to 314 on Clarke. My daughter is a student at University of Pretoria. It's the perfect place to stay. Convenient great rooms peaceful and safe. Good breakfast.

I had to stay in Pretoria due to unforeseen circumstances. 314 on Clark Street offered me a lot more than I expected at such short notice: I was given a bigger room than I paid for, the staff is very friendly and the breakfast gave the boost for the next day. Coming back when in the area!

We stayed for the night. Check in was easy and friendly. Safe parking on the premises. The property is well maintained and situated very central. It is in a boomed off area, so the surroundings are quite as there is limited traffic. The accommodation was lovely and the breakfast exceeded our expectations.

The staff is welcoming and very friendly. The rooms are clean and the WiFi is excellent, which makes working online a dream. Loadshedding is not an issue here as they have generators. Suppers are available by arrangement and is carefully prepared. I felt safe and taken care of.

Booked my stay 4 months in advance and I arrived with everything in place and expected. The lovely ladies also booked my shuttle for me to and from the airport and ordered food for me when their kitchen was closed. They were patient, understanding and friendly. Highly recommend.

I stayed at 314 for one night, before a road race I had entered in Pretoria. Everything, from the booking to the check-out was impeccable. The room was really big and well appointed, Cynthia at the reception desk was personable and helpful. The suburb is lovely, the actual property immaculate. It's a beautiful, easy well-oiled machine and I would certainly return.

Real peace and tranquility for sure. - Super duper quiet. The area is fantastic. Everything was so nice and clean. I lover the tea and coffee station in the lounge area available to guests at all times.

Great location, very nice staff. Flexible and helpful to client demands. Good breakfast and nice facilities. Security of course taken seriously and at top levels. No evening noise which ensures good night sleep. I will definitely be back

I always make use of this accommodation for business travelling. No problems during last stay. They try to fix broken items or other problems, immediately. Tip, when booking, remind them to check shower/tv/aircon/cleanliness. Recommended
