Das Onse Rus Guesthouse ist eine wunderschöne Oase in Prince Albert. Unglaublich zentral und schön gelegen in einem kapholländischen Anwesen mit einem tollen Garten, geschmackvoll eingerichteten Zimmern, einem sagenhaft leckerem Frühstück mit selbstgemachten Marmeladen, Brot und Butter, liebevoll aufgetischt. Auch beim zweiten Mal auf unserer Rundreise durch Prince Albert haben wir die Tage dort sehr genossen. Grosses Lob an Neil und Leo- Wir kommen gerne wieder !!!

Wir haben uns bei Leonard und Neil im Gästehaus sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Zimmer sind wunderschön eingerichtet und der Garten mit Pool und der Patio laden zum Verweilen ein. Das leckere Frühstück mit selbst gebackenem Brot konnten wir draußen genießen Wir kommen sicherlich wieder, wenn wir in Prince Albert sind.

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal hier, weil es uns so gut gefallen hat: Tolles altes Anwesen mitten im Ort, von einem neuen Besitzerpaar liebevoll geführt. Schöner, gepflegter Garten mit kleinem Pool im Innenhof, sehr schöne Zimmer - etwas dunkel, was aber angesichts der meist heißen Sonne eher ein Vorteil ist. Stilvolle Lobby, von der Frühstücksterrasse kann man das Treiben auf der Dorfstraße beobachten. Die Besitzer waren freundlich, aber sehr zurückhaltend. Da etliche der besseren Restaurants im Dorf noch geschlossen hatten, verwöhnten sie uns mit einem ausgezeichneten, reichhaltigen und abwechslungsreichen Dinner! Auch das Frühstück war außergewöhnlich gut: nicht nur die Marmeladen, sondern auch das Brot und selbst die Butter waren von Leonard selbst gemacht, der Saft natürlich frisch gepresst.

Could not have been made more welcome by Leonard and Neil. Homemade butter, bread and marmalade, fresh farm produce for breakfast. A brilliant sleep in a warm and comfortable bed. Meeting Cat the cat, who sleeps next to the fire in the lounge was a treat.

Yet another great stay at my favourite guest house in my favourite country town. As always, wonderful hospitality from hosts Leonard & Neil (this time an aubergine curry - delicious - as well as the usual yummy home cooked bread). The town, quiet at this time of year, remains charming & super friendly - always a wave & nod from passing locals. Eating out is a delight - this time a great meal at the Yellow House, just outside the centre of town. And yes, I’ll be back to PA, for sure.

There are so many places to stay in Prince Albert but you won't regret staying here. Leonard and Neil treated us like friends. The rooms are well appointed. The pool area with the lounge and dining table was perfect for our group of friends. There is an honesty bar that's always stocked. Nothing is too much trouble for Leonard and Neil. Their meals are delicious as is Leonard's bread and jams. We will definitely be back here.

Excellent stopover at Onse Rus. Leonard and Neil are very welcoming and efficient hosts. Outstanding breakfast! Will try to arrange a longer stay in the future to explore the area properly.

Leonard and Neil are amazing hosts who will go to any lengths to make your stay fantastic. Fantastic location on the main street. Wonderful breakfast with the most delicious homemade bread

A beautiful property with exceptional attention to detail in a quaint town. We loved all 3 rooms we booked and the welcome and care of the hosts was deeply welcomed after a long drive. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We stayed 2 nights on a recent road trip. They were not full and Leonard had moved us to another room that he had deemed to be better. We were very pleased with his choice. Leonard also advised where to eat and then booked for us. Very helpful...and to round it off he gifted us two jars of jam upon our departure. exceptional

A stately Cape Dutch Home in the heart and hub of the beautiful Prince Albert! Luxurious linen, carefully & tastefully curated rooms, overflowing citrus trees, high & constant cosy fire in the beautifully furnished lounge area, indeed a home away from home. Both Leonard & Niel, so lovely and accommodating; you can feel their generosity of spirit everywhere! Niel prepares the most beautiful breakfasts and even bakes all the sourdough breads in the town. They are both so accommodating and are the perfect hosts! We cannot wait to Return to Onserus some Leonard & Niel spoils!!

the service was excellent all what was expected was available. Food was very very nice especially the home made bread was the best.

We were well received. The ambience is wonderful. The garden is beautiful with a swimming pool and porch to relax. The room was comfortable and had all the necessary, including ground coffee, Wi-fi, a smart TV which gives one access to your own MultiChoice account. Breakfast was first class.

The hosts were extremely accommodating and all our needs were met. Advice on where to dine, what to visit and travel route suggestions were highly appreciated. Our breakfast was delicious and most of the products locally sourced and prepared by Leonard. All the facilities were to our total satisfaction and we would not hesitate to visit again.
