比阿特麗斯(The Beatrice)

A very well appointed hotel conveniently located in the historic downtown adjacent to RISD and an easy, if uphill walk, to Brown, with a number of decent restaurants nearby. The furnishings, bathroom, and linens were all of high quality. Despite other reviews I found the staff to be rather limited in their engagement versus the friendliness praised elsewhere, but nothing off-putting. The restaurant Bellini tries to punch a bit above its weight though for Providence it’s decent. Overall by far the best hotel in Providence but still a stretch from true five star luxury or a genuine upscale business hotel like Four Seasons or Mandarin Oriental.

Absolutely lovely stay. My wife and I spent the night for our 20th wedding anniversary, and it was terrific. Room was pristine and beautiful, front desk service was polite, friendly and helpful. Rooftop bar was relaxed and drinks were very good. Would definitely return.

The hotel is nice, new! The room is roomy but not comfortable. The armchair is nice and comfortable but only one - for a room can be for 4? The chair for the desk is too big and too heavy, sadly not comfortable. It is easily to re-arrange and utilize the space much better. The coffee cabinet takes up space and not necessary. We were 3, can’t imagine for 4! Last, no breakfast??? Or even a simple light breakfast…..

Our in-room refrigerator did not work - we had bought some drinks that we were disappointed not being able to chill and our cheeses (from nearby Whole Foods) also didn't survive the night. Walls are thin - We could hear the TV next door and people talking in the hallways - very much a flop for an anniversary night. Front desk took almost 30 minutes to get us a shower cap and water (9:30am). Forgot our requested extra towels and given the long wait, we didn't bother calling again and made do with the towels we had so we could check out as they couldn't fulfill a later checkout time. Overall, a very disappointing stay and will likely opt for a Hilton or Omni for our next visit.

Amenities felt like I was home, and people were some of the most serviceable in the hotel industry. The Bellini restaurant and roof top was also a big plus.

This hotel is stunning and awesome. Highly recommend!

Very disappointed

The hotel is really clean and in good condition , will be back. The location is excellent really close to Brown University

Very disappointed that the breakfast restaurant was closed on Christmas Eve. We stayed there for our 40th wedding anniversary and that feature was one that my wife selected this hotel for. Also, there was plenty of vacancy and the staff did not offer an upgrade in room quality to make up for the closed restaurant and that in was our 40th, which we mentioned at check-in. 2 stars on facilities because of closed restaurant.
