安蒂科博爾戈佩特拉利亞酒店(Antico Borgo Petralia)

Nette accommodatie met spectaculair uitzicht op de zee en de Etna. Helaas door slecht weer niet kunnen zwemmen in het mooie bad. De kamers zijn goed alhoewel het douchen twee keer met lauw water was. Wifi is slecht ( zat in kamer 24 op 1 hoog) . De familie is super aardig en het personeel ook erg vriendelijk, Daria is een prima gastvrouw en zorgzaam. Jammer genoeg op de weg naar boven veel afval langs de weg. Tijdens ons verblijf was het rustig, er waren maar 11 gasten. Bezoek Taormina en de Etna !! Deze zijn zeker de moeite waard. Sirascusa en Noto vond ik minder. De outlet is leuk en rustig.

We waren voor de t****e keer in deze accommodatie en kregen eenzelfde beleving. Super vriendelijke mensen, een prachtig domein, ruime parking, toffe kamers, goed ontbijt en de mogelijkheid om er te dineren. Bovendien zeer goed gelegen aan de voet van de Etna, met Taormina en Catanie op korte afstand. Super!

Grazie a la famiglia Petralia per averci accolti con tanta gentilezza e professionalita. In questo posto incantevolo abbiamo trovato la perfezione. Le stanze spaziose,arredati con gusto e pulitissime. La cucina preparata d'alla mamma semplice ma gustosa. A colazione si trova di tutto ma di piu apprezzereti le deliziose torte,crostate e dolci fatti in casa . E poi c'è Sara questa Bella ragazza sempre pronta a sodisfare le nostre richieste ,non ci sono parole per descrivere la sua simpatia ,gentilezza e disponibilita. Lei e veramente una bella persona .Grazie di cuore a tutti voie tutto il personale che avete reso le nostre vacanze indimendicabile.

Die Anlage ist wunderschön. Jedes Haus ist ein bisschen anders und das macht das ganze noch charmanter. Vom Pool aus hat man sogar den Blick auf den Ätna. Der Service ist ausgezeichnet. Jeder Wunsch wird erfüllt. Ja, wie schon erwähnt, sind die Zimmer hellhörig und man hört immer mal wieder einen Hund bellen. Ich empfehle darum Ohrstöpsel :).

From the views of Etna to the first class service from everyone to the most unexpectedly fantastic food. Run by a family who rebuilt the hotel over a period of 7 years. Mamas cooking should have a Michelin star. From the fresh morning pastries to the world class evening meal. What a gem this place is. Sit by the pool and look at Etna.

This hotel is perfect as a base to explore the eastern side of the island, conveniently located between Mount Etna and the sea. The hotel is lovely - clean and modern with everything you need including a pool. It is a family run business, and they could not have been more lovely - nothing was too much trouble. Our flight was delayed and we had problems picking up the hire car, but they waited up to check us in at 1am! The breakfast buffet was ample with lots of fresh fruit and freshly baked pastries/cakes and omelettes from their own hens. You can order dinner at the hotel at an extra cost, but all lovingly prepared and we had the best tiramisu on the holiday! Would definitely recommend!

The family-run Antico Borgo Petralia was a highlight of our Sicily trip. We stayed two nights in the Etna region, and found this beautiful villa-style hotel to be the perfect complement to a busy day of hiking with its friendly owners, homemade food, beautifully refurbished buildings, and relaxing atmosphere. Sara was so eager to please, she made us feel incredibly welcome! The pool area was just as delightful as we'd hoped with views of the sea on one side and Etna on the other. It made for an incredible place for a couple hours' worth of relaxation. I would go back here in an instant and almost wished we had been spending the rest of our holidays here! Definitely a must-stay for the Etna area.
