新可可哈特小木屋(New Cocohut Chalet)

Wow where to start. Please avoid this place at all costs. We booked this place for 4 nights whilst traveling through Malaysia. We got engaged just a few days before and couldn't wait. On arrival we were shown to our room and it was absolutely disgusting. Mouse/rat droppings above mirror and cupboard, the ceiling paint was flaking off onto the floor and bed constantly, the floor was filthy and broken in places, the lampshades where so dusty and it was just one of the filthiest places we stayed during our month away. Even the beach area is covered with litter and it looks like a hurricane has just hit, such a shame as the oustanding beauty of the island is not reflected at all in this accommodation and site. We managed after a while back and forth to get the owner the agree to a refund (or so we thought) we have been back in the uk for a week now and they have stopped replying to my emails. *********** tell me the hotel is responsible for all refunds and they tell me there manager is on holiday and they will sort it out when she is back. Now they have changed there story and say that *********** will have to make the refund. Avoid at all costs please guys! Save your money and stay at Tuna bay instead which is where we went after we cancelled our booking on the first day!

We were overwhelmed by the beauty of the island when we arrived. Its not far to walk to the chalets. As an honest reviewer I can say that the place isn't 5 star but has all the basic amenities that's needed. The room we had was above the restaurant and the view was amazing. If people are drinking into the wee hours and are noisy you can easily hear them, bit it didn't affect us. The rooms were clean and most importantly has Aircon and fan and fridge. The shower has plenty of hot water. We had all three meals included which were mostly Asian and were all very delicious. The lady who runs the place is extremely friendly, speaks 3xcellent English and no request was ever too much. We will definitely visit again and my only wish is for them to have more variety of alcoholic drinks, especially cocktails. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
