It was a nice experience. Staff were really good. Property is neat and clean. Taste of food is good. Park, swimming pool everything is well maintained. Highly recommended for weekend relaxation.

Terrible experience. This resort is not even worth the money they charge. We found human hair in their food multiple times, our things + money was stolen from the room yet the management was reluctant to take any actions or talk properly to customers. Any roadside hotel will be safer and more hygienic than this hotel.

I stayed at room no. 308 no welcome drink provided a noise of working in all time staffs are cooperative nature

Breakfast is not up to the mark. Menu is too less. No variety. Starter served was also not good enough.

It was overall a fantastic trip for us for 1 night. The swimming pool and river facing room with balcony on the higher floor was awesome. Quality of food, room service, staf behaviour - top class. The big lawn with sitting arrangements at the river bank was most attractive. Perfect weekend gateway with family and friends. Will come back again. Only drawback, the reception/check in area is not air conditioned and is a pain during summer time.

Entire resort was under repair. Constant construction noises, dust, all amenities closed. Terrible experience

Overall stay was good. Property location is near a river, wifi is missing though was confirmed in your mmt website. Food is good and provision available to get kid's food too. Housekeeping services are as expected.

Very nice arrangements although some reconstruction work is going on

I had a pretty good stay here. The rooms are spacious and well maintained. I had opted for ac premium room which had the river view and that was a good decision. The view is too good. The hotel spans over a large area which covers kids area, games room, a spa, a temple, swimming pool, a small walkway ***** the river bank, spacious gardens with swings and an open sitting area close to the river. The serenity of the river and the peace that it brings is worth experiencing. The staff is also very friendly and prompt at rendering services. The only downside is the food which i found to be average and disproportionate. Also now, lot of renovation and construction is going on in the property due to which it is dusty at some places. The restaurant is also closed. So they deliver food in the rooms which i found to be a bit messy. All in all it’s a good stay

Hotel is under renovation. Full of dust. Ground completely filled up with debris. I wound never book this hotel if i had some information of this pathiec stage in renovation

It is a big and spacious compound. Although their restaurant and few other parts are getting renovated but we faced no hindrance for that. Beautiful view of gang-es river from big rooms at the top floor. Food is delicious here. Most lovable part was the hospitality of the hotel staffs are really heart warming. We loved the place.

We are much impressed with everything at sonar bangla, kolaghat. We loved the excellent location by the side of the rupnarayan river, room, sanitation, house keeping, room services and above all the food. The employees are helping and served us well. We will give the hotel full 10 marks, out of 10. Wish sonar bangla, a long and successful journey ahead.

Nice stay with good food and polite staffs. Only recommendation is to have some emergency medical services or doctor on call as we could see a situation where few young men were in swimming pool and all of a sudden one of them started drowning to which another guy while trying to save him got his leg badly injured and was profusely bleeding. The other guy was completely unconscious and was tried to give c pr but got both the emergency cases there was no immediate doctor or ambulance service. Later they were taken to nearby hospital by private conveyance.

It was a staycation basically away from the city's maddening crowd and we enjoyed it thoroughly. A good property but with a few changes could become excellent. It falls short of being excellent due to more than a couple of things. Further for the services, amenities and decor, i must say, that, for the same price, novotel, lemon tree, westin, creek at santiniketan, fairfield marriott etc are miles ahead.
