Nous sommes allés au Wind Blend en remontant vers le Nord en direction de Jaffna puis en revenant vers Negombo. Cette presqu'île de Kalpitiya est un véritable trésor comme tous les recoins côtiers du pays. Ce qui fait la force de l'établissement c'est la gentillesse de Sudath et de son équipe, toujours attentionnés, toujours disposés à vous donner la meilleure chambre et d'arranger avec vous les meilleurs plats sans abus. Nous vous conseillons de planifier cela pour le matin et le soir au moins afin de jouir d'un poisson frais et de plats bien arrangés. Sudath est capable d'arranger beaucoup d'excursions et de transport quitte à s'investir par lui-même pour aider ses invités. Beaucoup de gens se donnent du temps pour la méditation, la piscine et les douches sous les étoiles. Inoubliable !

We had an incredible experience at Wind Blend in Kappaladi! The accommodation features charming local architecture huts right on the beach, which made for a perfect and authentic stay. The kitesurfing conditions were phenomenal, with the wind blowing every day during our August visit, and the lagoon and ocean waves were absolutely amazing. We also loved the delicious food and the fresh coconuts provided by the local owner. The beach hut staff were super friendly and helpful with the launching service, making everything run smoothly. We highly recommend Wind Blend for anyone looking for a fantastic beach getaway!

Our stay was 3 nights. Nice staff and they tried to help. The Wifi was not working all the time. There was no yoga available. Kitchen staff did not know much english, so we had problems with dietary issues. The water served in dinners is not bottled water. Maybe better not to drink.

Staff are superb - super friendly & very helpful. Rooms are simple but comfy with great wifi & wonderful outdoor shower. Brilliant location close to beach. My only small quibble is that more lighting in the room would be appreciated. Booked for 2 days ended up staying 4 - it’s a lovely resort!

The area this resort is in slum area. Here there is nothing. The beach is walking 30 - 40 minutes if you are fast walking or slow. If the way is the lagoon there is not nice smell and algie to the waist then the land is broken and 15 minutes. The coconut man is real nice and clean his beach, the next parts both ways has many plastic parts and fish parts with smell. The boss is not nice with staff persons but they are nice and hard worker. We are not go again to here it is not a good place for holiday. Herr Schäfer

The breakfast and dinner in the resort was really really good and good price value!! As well the kitebuddy station as family owned place highly recommended !! Unfortunately the bad plankets are uncomfy and feels like cheap plastic. Many mosquitoes and one of the owner tends to be lazy in service terms… coffee remained there two days and beds did not maintained. Btw/ pls remove the dead fish

We spent 2 nights with our 3 children in the family bungalow. The full resort, as well as our rooms in particular, are very well integrated into the trees, we really felt part of the nature. For breakfasts and dinners we had a very good introduction to the sri lankan cuisine. Not being kitesurfers, we enjoyed visiting the village and the beach, we could have stayed much longer. Well done to Sudath and his team for making this place so welcoming !

I came here to eat, but did not live at this resort. I finally found a clean chicken broth soup 🍲. Almost like home 🤤🏡 . Also very tasty seafood soup 🦀. Real spaghetti, not noodles, but sweet and sour and fiery hot 🍝. Almost European, international cuisine, but I hope the guys will amaze us with their skills 🤗 Unfortunately, this area of ​​Sri Lanka is still poorly developed - no minimarkets, only local shops, no souvenir shops and gift shops, no shops with crafts and clothes, not enough hotels and nice villas.

Just spent an amazing week at Wind Blend! What a brilliant little find and I cannot recommend enough. There is a beautiful little community forming around this resort with the other local businesses like Lagoonies (local cafe/dinner spot with kite surfing rentals and lessons). So welcoming and open to new people! Thank you everyone! The resort it self is across two sites across the road from Each other with two beautiful bungalows on the lagoon/beach side, and then the main area with checkin and Reatutant set in a area full of trees, along with 6 other bungalows- these are all beautifully designed with outdoor showers, and beautiful patio to chill on. These are eco friendly rooms with Fans and cold water only but designed to be passive cooling so I didn’t even need the fan or hot water given the tanks warm up the water in the sun. There is also a yoga shala to do self practice or get a class if they have a teacher- luckily during my time there was- Yamini’s restorative practices were amazing after a day kite surfing- massages available also. Bikes available for rent, lots of hammocks, kids play equipment - everything has been thought of here- one of the best places of stayed in my two months in Sri Lanka! The wifi was also brilliant so if you’re a digital nomad or need to take a few work calls this place was reliable with fibre connection- a rare find in Sri Lanka let alone the northwest area. Thanks to all the staff who had this week amazing- the manager Sudath (who designed and built the whole resort!) can help you book onwards travel and give you locals tips, and thanks to the chef, who prepared beautiful bbqs and outdoor dinners under the stars. The whole team was attentive and willing to help. Honestly I can not recommend enough and thank you to the team! Kite surfer or not this place is great to just chill away from the world and enjoy nature!
