聖安妮酒店(Hotel Sainte-Anne)

Not a very good customer service experience: The first night of our stay, my son and I were awakened around 4am by the smoke alarm in our room going off. I didn’t hear any noise from the hallway, so we waited several minutes and after it went off again, I checked our 3rd floor hallway and it was empty. Our alarm kept sounding every few minutes and so then I got up again, went down to the 1st floor and there was no smoke. After about 45 minutes we gave up trying to sleep and we pulled our couch underneath the smoke alarm, disabled it and I walked downstairs again and left it at the reception desk with a note explaining what had happened. In the morning I spoke to the young man at the front desk and he apologized and replaced the smoke alarm that afternoon. The following day I spoke to another woman at reception and she said she would let her supervisor know, and maybe we could get a gift for the inconvenience. The man that was working with her tried to be funny and said something like ‘maybe a gift of a new smoke alarm’ – to my son and I this was an extremely rude comment to make since we lost considerable sleep. Since all we got from two different receptionists was “I’m sorry” and nothing else to make up for the inconvenience of our interrupted sleep, then I hope that management conveys my “I’m sorry” to the woman that cleaned our room since I ended up leaving her no tip.

Excellent place to enjoy Vieux Quebec! Right in the heart of the historic part of town on a cute pedestrian street with shops and restaurants. The parking was easy just a block away (not included). We loved the mix of tasteful modern design of the room with the historic building. A nice little elevator was a plus. It was very comfortable and clean and had nice bedding. There were two two queen beds and a comfortable pull out couch and a little desk. We enjoyed a yummy breakfast with our 1/2 off coupon at the restaurant around the corner. One suggests they should include conditioner, and better shampoo. Our room had a partial view of some historic buildings. Just very happy with the stay.

Location, location, location. It is a fantastic and affordable place to stay on a great, fun street right in the middle of all the attractions. If you get a double queen room, ask for the top floor as the windows face the atrium and the light comes in from the top of the atrium so the room will be bright. This hotel is literally steps from the hotel Frontenac and every other place you'll want to visit. Bring rolling bags and park about 100 yards away at the hotel de ville. Can't say enough good things. Wish they served breakfast an no coffee in the morning but if that's the worst thing I can think of, this is a great choice for a vacation spot. Be ready to walk up and down a lot of hills in Quebec City :)

J ai adoré l hôtel ste anne. L hôtel est bien situé,.en plein coeur du vieux Québec. Les chambres sont grandes et propres. Nous retournerons l an prochain. Le prix etait tres raisonnable.

Unbelievable location...close to everything in Vrais Quebec. The front desk service was very good, and the restaurant was great. The room was clean, quiet, & reasonably comfortable but completely impractical. We paid extra for a larger room (Jr. Suite), but the extra space we paid for was a waste of money for 5 nights. The bathroom was quite small with a useless sink and a shower that was almost impossible to adjust properly. However, the hotel is in a perfect location!

We loved that it was in an ideal location. The whole building lost hot water for hours and you had to go down to front desk for for ice. Otherwise wonderful. I’d go back. Staff very helpful.

Nous avons eu une chambre rénovée récemment et avons beaucoup apprécié le décor et les équipements, la salle de bain moderne et fonctionnelle. Nous avions choisi cet hôtel pour l'emplacement qui nous permettait de tout faire à pied pendant notre court séjour.

Perfect place to stay right downtown Quebec City. Friendly staff, great rooms and right in the middle of it all. Highly recommended to stay Next time, we will be back
