維德爾酒店(Le Widor)

Un trésor caché! Maison ancestrale entièrement rénovée avec goût, située près de la rue Cartier, et du Musée des Beaux Arts de Québec, à 20 minutes du Château Frontenac et du Vieux Québec, près des Plaines d'Abraham et ses spectacles. La propriétaire, Sophie, est remarquable pour son accueil et comme source d'informations pour les visiteurs. Je vous recommande ses petits déjeuners, variés et avec cappuccino! La maison est lumineuse avec ses grandes fenêtres. Elle est devenue notre adresse de choix et nous y reviendrons à la première occasion!

La gentillesse de la propriétaire et son emplacement. Petit bémol, vraiment petit, il n’y a pas de prise de courant poir brosse à dent électrique dans la salle de bain.

Je recommande cette hôtel a tout ceux qu'il recherche un endroit paisible et tranquille mais proche de tout en même temps. tout ce fait a pied. le confort de la chambre est très bien belle salle de bain confort assuré vous ne serai pas dessus sans parlé des bon déjeuné de Sophie si vous n'avez pas le goût de sortir a l'extérieur. Dear Sophie Earlier this year, in preparation for our several week trip to Canada, we came across your wonderful B&B. Quebec was our second stop on the trip and we were really looking forward to this city and our accommodation. We received such a warm welcome, although we arrived at your place earlier than expected. The room so spacious and tasteful, great bathroom - so nice. We spent two beautiful days in Québec and often think back to your great "Bijou". You have renovated everything so stylish and beautiful. I was very impressed by your big kitchen where you served us a great breakfast. You are a great host! We are very happy to recommend your B&B Le Widor. This was absolutely the BEST B&B we have ever stayed at. The owner, Sophie, welcomed us so warmly. She provided us with excellent information for our stay. She spent time talking with us and getting to know us. Her breakfasts were phenomenal (home baked goodies, quiche, and delicious bread pudding!)The room was immaculate, and she has put a lot of care into updating her house. Her home is within walking distance to the Quebec City sights. This is the place to stay when visiting the area. Sophie, thank you so much for our wonderful stay. I wish we could have stayed longer😊

Sophie runs a charming small hotel with large, quiet rooms and a terasse for guests. She gets Robert to make delicious breakfasts for guests and the whole experience is a great base for a Quebec stay. Plus,just around the corner is a wonderful neighbourhood featuring restaurants and services.

Stayed with Sophie at her marvelous B&B. This was our 5th time! Best place in Quebec city. Well appointed rooms with comfortable beds. Delicious breakfast. Sophie is the most amazing host, as always. The lication is ideal. We walk to restaurants and some shops. Walk to the old town and many other points if interest. We would never consider staying anywhere else!

We had a lovely few days with Sophie at her beautiful b and b. Just wonderful-we will be back. Clean, charming, and peaceful stay. We wish we didn’t have to leave. Sophie went above and beyond to help make our time Quebec City special-she is kind and helpful. Thank you, Sophie.

We knew withing the first 5 min at Le Widor that we were in a very special place! Sophie has transformed this historic home into a beautiful space that captures the charm of the old, while incorporating modern comforts. Our room was comfortable and spacious, super comfortable bed & shower, and AC was quite welcome! Everything is sparkling clean, and as-advertised! Perfect location, 5 -10 min walk to groceries, restaurants, park, & art museum, and 25 min walk to Old Quebec City (a couple times we planned to take the bus back from Old Quebec and bought a Le Bus (blue) ticket at the convenience store on Cartier St around the corner from Le Widor - only about $3-4 per person, one-way - bus system was quite easy and the #11 bus goes all the way to Old Quebec, there is a stop right by Le Widor). There are so many great restaurants, but Don Vegan in Old Quebec was our fav. There is a public parking lot just across the street - we may use this on a future trip if we happen to drive. The neighborhood was clean, felt safe, people were friendly. It seems most locals appreciate when English speaking visitors make an attempt to speak French, but many people are bi-lingual, so finding someone to speak English is not an issue. The complimentary coffee and tea in the mornings was delicious. We did not opt for the breakfast, but it looked delicious, fruit was fresh and baked goods & quiche were home-made! Beautiful little deck off of the kitchen was delightful for sipping our coffee in the mornings (there is also a lovely backyard space for sitting, which even includes a grill!). Having full kitchen access was perfect for our needs. Sophie's space is mindful of environmental needs and encourages recycling, composting, and stocks the shower/bathroom with environmentally responsible products. Sophie's staff are professional and lovely, all of them give the same warm and genuine customer service that Sophie does herself. Sophie is the perfect hostess, she was accessible and helped us with whatever little thing we needed. Additionally, she has thought of so many little comforts around the home and in the rooms that make the difference between a "good" place and a "great" one! There are lots of places to stay in the area, but we already know there is only one for us! - We'll be coming back to Le Widor!
