皇后鎮湖景假日公園酒店(Hampshire Holiday Parks – Queenstown Lakeview)

De ligging is perfect: vlak bij de skyline en het centrum van Queenstown. Vlak achter een berg gelegen is de zon echter vroeg weg. Iedereen heeft zijn parkeerplaats en er is een gemeenschappelijke keuken en wasserij met verschillende machines. De kamers zijn eenvoudig. Buiten een waterverwarmer is er niets aanwezig (geen broodrooster of borden). Wij ondervonden wat overlast van de buren.

A very busy site near the base of the gondola. A short walk down to the town but uphill on the way back. We felt that our pitch was a little cramped but suspect that the site is in great demand so they try to maximise numbers (does no harm to their pockets either). We had young long term campers next to us and were worried that it was going to be noisy. We were wrong and the site was quiet shortly after 10 on all 3 nights westayed. All in all the position made up for any minor issues.

We camped here and found it pretty much perfect. The facilities are excellent, very clean and plenty of toilets, showers, washing machines and dryers. The location is also excellent with easy walk to town and lake and close proximity to cycle trail.

Stayed one night here in a Motorhome. It was very quiet despite being busy due to the Queenstown marathon that day. Facilities were good and the check in guy was really friendly and helpful. There was lots of construction work going on towards the lake so the view wasn’t so good. It was also not a patch on its sister site in Arrowtown. Good location for town and gondolas.

Perfect location, good facilities (showers, laundry etc.). Nice surprise that you don’t need coins for washer and dryer, card payment is ok. Camping place is quite crowded because Queenstown is a popular destination. I recommend that you book a place for camper van in advance.

Well worth the stay at Queenstown Hampshire Park clean & well maintained Facilities. Friendly staff well informed very approachable. Everything within walking Distance. Gondola / Center of Town / Plenty to do Jet Boats / Earnslaw / Heaps Of food!! / Thanks to all the staff

Clean and basic accommodation that was in a pleasant situation. But pushing one’s suitcase from the town up the hill to the hotel, then having steps up to the room was a challenge! The sign saying Lakeview was also confusing as I was looking for Hampshire! But good value for money if you are fit!

Easy and convenient place to stay close to town and the gondola. Room was acceptable for the price - nice to have heaters and extra blankets for the cold snap. Be aware that a number of the rooms can be looked into directly from the grounds - with my curtains open people walking by would have been able to see me in bed!
