瑞雷伊爾大教堂旅館(Il Duomo Relais)

Una splendida location per questo piccolo gioiellino sul punto più alto di Ragusa Ibla. Il Duomo Relais si fa apprezzare per la sua lussuosa semplicità: camere ampiamente confortevoli, con spazi adeguati alle esigenze di chi ha un copioso guardaroba al seguito; ricercate, secondo i canoni del posto, per quel che riguarda i colori e gli arredi. Il bagno non è da meno: grande quanto basta è fornito di tutti gli oggetti per uso della toletta giornaliera. Il punto forte poi è l’impagabile vista del cupolone del Duomo di San Giorgio che si può apprezzare in tutta la sua magnificenza dal balcone della camera stessa. Essendo un piccolo relais di solo 4 camere il Duomo propone una colazione particolareggiata con prodotti tipici del luogo (salumi e formaggi, marmellate, ecc.) da richiedere al momento dell’arrivo o la sera prima (non c’è il buffet ma è una mancanza che si sente appena). In definitiva la struttura merita il massimo della fiducia (e dei voti) insieme alla titolare Katia che in quanto ad assertività non è seconda a nessuno. Unica nota negativa il parcheggio: esiguo (quasi inesistente) nei pressi dell’albergo e la viabilità certamente non facile. Sono però punti che con un po’ di pazienza si possono superare facilmente. Rapporto qualità prezzo da prendere in considerazione per la convenienza.

Ek hotel está muy bien situado a unos pasos del duomo. Nos quedamos en la habitación Terra con vistas a la cúpula. Preciosa habitación de color lila. Un poco pequeña pero suficiente. Agua de cortesía y nevera. Katia un encanto que te da recomendaciones y te ayuda a subir y bajar las maletas por la empinada escalera. Desayuno a la carta con productos locales. La ricotta deliciosa. Es complicado llegar al hotel pero se puede soar se en la puerta y no es de pago. La calle es segura. Recomendable

Siamo stati tre notti in questo posto speciale dalla vista mozzafiato sulla cupola di San Giorgio! Katia è stata una vera padrona di casa, ci ha dato ottimi consigli sui posti da visitare e dove mangiare, pulizia impeccabile e location curata nei minimi dettagli! Consigliatissimo🤩

Un grazie di cuore alla Signora Katia, donna fantastica, gentilezza, cortesia,disponibilita' ma soprattutto amore per l'ospitalita'. Il suo b&b e' semplicemente superlativo, vista Duomo , colazione dolce salata con prodotti di qualita'. Ancora grazie di tutto.

This place was wonderful. The decors and fit out was great, it was spotless, the breakfast was wonderful, the best view imaginable from our bedroom window; and the host Katia was exceptionally helpful and a delight to deal with (she also has boundless energy which is wonderfully infectious). The hotel puts you in a perfect position to see and explore the old town. The breakfast is as you order, and includes your choice of coffee. The room was very comfortable. Stay more than one night, this place has much to see, particularly if you look; and later in the night when most of the tourists go away it is simply beautiful.

Katia, the owner of the property, was the most congenial host I have ever experienced at a B&B. She could not do enough for us to make sure that our stay was perfect. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who wishes to stay in the heart of Ragusa Ibla.

We absolutely LOVED this hotel, and the owner--Katia--is a best reason why. What a lovely and caring host. She made a fantastic breakfast every morning, and had lots of suggestions of things to see and places to go. The hotel is quite chic: comfortable bed, extra pillows, good hairdryer, free water and coffee. A GREAT location if you are walking...not easy to get to by car. But totally worth the effort! Would absolutely stay here again.

Katya was amazing! She came to our rescue as we struggled through the narrow streets and made sure that we had a good car- park. The small hotel has an amazing view over the cathedral and the surrounding countryside and our room was perfect - very clean and with everything we needed. Breakfast had to be pre-ordered but there was a vast choice and everything was delicious. It is a pleasant walk of about 10 minutes into town where thee are lots of restaurant and bars. I would definitely stay here again especially as Salvo from Montalbano stayed here and, in a recent episode, we recognised Ragusa!

What you will notice first is the beauty of the view. You are at the top of Ragusa Ibla, with the dome of the Duomo more or less at eye level. Beyond is a beautiful, spare, almost stylized-seeming landscape. Then you will notice how kind and helpful Katia, the hostess, is. Then you will thrill at the beauty and serenity of your room. Ours was the ground floor room, with a beautiful arched ceiling. I thought it might be noisy to be on the ground floor, but I never heard a car pass or a person make a peep (you are almost as high in the town as you can go, so there is nobody just passing by for no reason. By the way, that position makes it relatively easy to find a parking place on the street. Breakfast is delicious and generous, with lots of local specialties. We particularly loved the little individual basket of fresh ricotta with the sun-dried tomatoes in oil, but there is everything you can think of to choose from. Katia gave us exceptionally good advice about how to organize our day, and we followed it to the letter, and came home very satisfied with everything we had seen and done. Ragusa itself is absolutely lovely, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We couldn't recommend Duomo Relais more warmly.
