Location molto bella e staff super gentile.Peccato le scale , ma per la vista vale la pena.

Stupenda la posizione e la vista panoramica sul golfo. Gentilissimi nell’accoglienza e nel rispondere a qualsiasi richiesta. Bella la camera con vista e buona la colazione con molte proposte preparate dalla cucina dell’hotel. Molto stranieri e pochi italiani. Un consiglio: meno luoghi esotici e più Costiera!

Had a wonderful 3 nights in Positano prior to our arrival in quaint little Ravello to attend a wedding. We had booked a 2 night stay at Villa Amore many months in advance. I had sent many emails in the months prior asking basic questions about transport to airport, etc. In each email I reiterated our booking dates and confirmed that we had a (“a”) King Bed Junior Suite. The first two emails were answered, the one confirming our booking and one after confirming our transport to airport after our stay. I sent a handful of additional emails asking questions about various things such as hair dryer, cloths iron, possible shipping of items back to the states, etc.; none of those emails were ever answered. I began to become concerned about the lack of communication following initial booking and thus sent one final email again simply confirming our reservation. Again, no reply. Once we arrived, Antonio, the front desk clerk, immediately started informing us “you know you have two rooms, yes?” . . . and it went down hill from there. It isn’t worth explaining all the back and forth of him claiming he replied to my emails and I should check my spam (which I already had for months, no emails). In the end we were charged for two King Bed Junior Suites, much to our dismay. We became tired of arguing about it, even though we 1000% KNOW we were being taken advantage of, we finally just let it go as we didn’t want to let it ruin our short time in Ravello. We were given the choice of which of the two rooms we wanted to use and we chose to just stay in the first we were shown. As we were unpacking our bags, we noticed one thing after another about the room that was much less than desirable, including no working a/c! We found mold patches on the walls, ant colonies on the floor, broken light fixtures, lamps with no shades, broken door hinges in cabinetry, fire hazard situations wherein bare lightbulbs were resting against the curtains, broken entry door locking system mechanism, really disgusting. After a bit I started to thinking . . . if we are being charged for two (2) rooms, why don’t we have the keys to the other room ? It was right next door after all! So, we went to the front desk and asked Antonio if he was willing to give us any kind of break on charging us for the second room; and when he adamantly replied “no”, we demanded to have the keys to both. Low and behold, the second room was quite nice by comparison. We immediately moved into that second room. As far as the first room we were put in and chose to depart, I have photos of its poor condition that I will attempt to attach here (although I’m not sure it will allow me to) but the photos will show the condition of that room. We were forced to pay for both rooms for both nights, even in the condition it was. Long story, I know, but the moral is, be very weary of Villa Amore and certainly Antonio. Endroit magique, la vue est exceptionnelle ! Antonio qui nous a accueillis est charmant ! Très bon accueil Un peu difficile d’accès (il faut garer sa voiture sur un parking à l’extérieur de ravello au bas du village (25€ la journée) et se faire aider d’un transporteur (15€ par chambre) (au moins pour monter). Cela se fait plus facilement en descente.

Abbiamo pranzato sulla terrazza e il panorama che si può ammirare è davvero incantevole, come quello che si può apprezzare nelle Ville più blasonate. La sorpresa è stata al ristorante: Ravioli (3 di numero) alla Caprese a 15 Euro! Che dire, un’esperienza pagata profumatamente!

Io e le mie amiche abbiamo prenotato per tre notti presso la struttura Villa amore nei primi di agosto, sul sito descritta come climatizzata, contenente tutto il necessario, cucina, frigo, microonde e addirittura con colazione "all'italiana" inclusa, fette biscottate e qualche merendina. Ciò che non viene riportato nella descrizione è che una volta arrivati vi trovate di fronte a una casa prossima alla rovina, lerca e sudicia, ma procediamo con ordine. I letti senza lenzuola e mal odoranti, il bagno in pessime condizioni: i servizi sporchi, li abbiamo dovuti lavare noi comprando i prodotti, la muffa nei cassetti, tutto impolverato con ragnatele ovunque. La presunta cucina, non esistente, in quanto non tutte le strutture la presentano, ma ciò non viene specificato chiaramente nel sito tantè che una volta arrivate siamo rimaste sorprese dato che abbiamo prenotato tenendo conto della cucina, vi era solo un frigorifero vecchissimo che cadeva a pezzi, letteralmente, e ovviamente mal funzionante. Il nostro appartamento prevedeva due camere climatizzate, ma il condizionatore era presente all'ingresso ed era rotto e quando l'abbiamo comunicato alla proprietaria, questa mandò un tecnico, durante la permanenza quindi lascio immaginare il disagio, che tuttavia non lo riuscì a sistemare difatti abbiamo sofferto il caldo asfissiante di agosto per tutto il pernottamento. Ma questo è solo l'inizio dei disagi riscontrati poichè, oltre alla sporcizia disumana della casa, vi era anche la presenza di insetti: blatte giganti morte sotto i letti e ragni, riguardo quest'ultimi, una delle mie amiche è stata morsa sul busto da un ragno velenoso che le ha provocato una gravissima infezione procurandole una infiammazione preoccupante e costringendola ad andare in ospedale, ha trascorso una giornata al prontossoccorso per poi spendere anche un' ingente somma tra dermatologo e medicinali. Ma non finisce qui, aggiungo anche una nota sulla porta d'ingresso difettosa che si apriva difficilmente con la chiave costringedoci a restare fuori. Ma i disagi accrescono quando ci interfacciamo con la proprietaria, che nonostante tutto non si è degnata di farsi vedere, mandando il padre , l'unica persona gentile ed educata della famiglia a quanto pare. Quindi le scriviamo per farle presente tutte le problematiche ma quest'ultima con fare detestabile, scortese e irrispettoso, ci ha invitati in malo modo ad andarcene a metà della permanenza per poi accusarci di "stalking" in quanto insistevamo via messaggio perchè la situazione era diventata insostenibile. In fine l'ultimo giorno nel momento del check out abbiamo incontrato la madre della proprietaria che con insulti e urla ci ha salutati.

I booke the room and was beautiful, when we check out , they telling me the room was cancel and I have to pay to them, I never cancel my room, and if I did cancel why they let me stay in, I think is something wrong with this property trying to scan the company we are booking with, and the air is control by then, so the room was supper hot , not impressed

We were visiting Ravello for a wedding & were told that this hotel was very close to the wedding venue. Firstly tge hotel is located quite sonw walk from the centre of Ravello up quite a lot of steps but we didn't find it too much of a problem. The views from the rear were fabulous but sadly the rest of the hotel was very disappointing. Whilst the room had pleasant, neutral decor, there was a general feeling of the place being a bit neglected & unloved. Whilst the bathroom seemed fairly modern, it was filthy &very poorly cleaned with accumulated dirt & grime around the bottom of the shower cubicle& floor. The toilet seat was broken which clearly tge cleaner would have known but yet this was just left. The WiFi was poor, air conditioning seemed to keep not working. Also photos shown on the website & other operators websites were somewhat misleading showing colourfully planted terrace areas. In reality there were empty planters & beds that looked very neglected & unloved. The dining/bar area also felt very dreary & uninviting. It's such a pity as with this hotel's location, with little effort it could be a lovely boutique hotel. On a positive note Max who ran the bar & restaurant, along with kitchen staff were very friendly & helpful & the cooked breakfasts were good.

Beautiful hotel in the town of Ravello spectacular views. Excellent service couldn’t ask for more!! Our best decisions on the Amalfi coast.. perfect views, old world charm. clean, comfortable rooms with everything you would expect. And I should say icy cold air-conditioning, which is not the norm

This was the best experience for us, we had several rooms booked since we were In Ravello for a wedding. Antonio was always so quick to reply to my emails anytime I had questions or needed to change things, I almost thought it was too good to be true till we arrived and we were amazed at everything. The view, the service, clean and very cold rooms to wonderful breakfast every morning. There was nothing negative about this place and highly recommended it.

Absolutely brilliant hotel. I couldnt fault this hotel at all. Staff were so helpful and friendly, rooms were lovely very well equipped. Views were amazing. Breakfast was delicious. I wouldnt hesitate to come again. Thoroughkly enjoyable. I will be recommending to friends and family.

Perfect place for a light lunch, just a short walk from the pathway when visiting Villa Cimbrone. Lovely views from the terrace, quiet and away from the busier areas in Ravello. Reasonable prices and good food too including sandwiches, salads and pasta. Friendly and helpful staff.
