嘉寶斯特林酒店(The Gables at Stirling Guest Hotel)

I came here with my wife for a weekend getaway. This was a fantastic experience. The building is a late 19th century Victorian mansion, with many original furnishings and lots of cool antiques. The host gave us a tour of the buildings and grounds, which we enjoyed. The room was very clean and very comfortable. Breakfast both days was a highlight - unique, cooked for us by the host, Cesar, and very delicious. Highly recommend staying here! I hope we get a chance to come back.

If you love historical buildings this place is for you! Everything down to the detailed woodwork is just beautiful! The owner will give you a tour that makes you imagine what it was like in the mansion over 200 years ago. Absolutely beautiful inside and out. Highly recommend this place, if not for an everytime trip to Reading at least cross it off the bucket list.

The accommodations and breakfast were amazing. The owners purpose is very honorable. It was a pleasure getting to know the owners and staff. They are passionate about making your stay as pleasant and memorable as possible. I would strongly recommend this place.

I just love this place and Caesar is awesome! Maria made the best breakfast. This was our second time and we cannot wait to go back. So relaxing and absolutely Stunning. Not to mention the bed is so comfortable I slept like a baby.

This place is immaculate. Almost everything in this castle is original - artwork, furniture, pianos, pool table, etc. the bed was so comfortable and the fireplace was perfect. Cesar, the host and owner, is extremely kind, professional, and responsive to any questions or requests. They also do a lot to give back to the community with this place so supporting them to help those endeavors is a plus. I highly recommend you stay here if you are looking for a unique experience and definitely have a chat with Cesar if you get the chance!

This place is such a gem! The furnishings are all original 19th century and have an amazing history. Caesar is a knowledgeable and gracious host. The bed was so comfortable and breakfast was delicious!! Worth every penny for this magical experience!

Absolutely beautiful place to stay! Great to learn about the extensive history of the house and previous owners. Had entire space to ourselves during our stay, relaxed by playing pool and use of complimentary wine bar. Great for music lovers, had a great time tinkering on the several vintage pianos on the main floor. Staff were very accommodating and breakfast was delicious! If visiting the Reading area there is no better place to stay!

We took a chance just because we happen to like bed and breakfast accommodations, and our stay here more than met our expectations. What a wonderful old mansion! Lots of clever workmanship from days gone by, including leaded stained glass windows and really cool storable shutters. Every room has a functional fireplace. The entire place is kept immaculately clean, and the owners give guests full run of the house, so it was fun to be nosy and look into all the rooms that were open, help ourselves to the bar, and play pool on the very old but well maintained pool table. Breakfast was a treat, and pleasantly different each day. If we go back to Reading for another "just for fun" road trip, we will be staying here again! I would caution anyone with a larger vehicle or SUV that the turn in to the property gate as well as the front door driveway can be a bit tight, but this is only a note and shouldn't be taken as a detractor.

We arrived and we were greeted like we have been there 1000 times before rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast was fresh hot and delicious and incredible home. Incredible history incredible staff cannot wait to go back.
