Travelodge by Wyndham Redding CA

I took a chance on this because of the 8.2 rating on *******. Who rates these things? The staff was very friendly and kind. The walkways to the room were dirty and trashy. The beds in the room were made attractively. But the mattresses were broken down so badly you had to find a firm spot in the middle to keep from rolling toward the edge. The vinyl plank floors had shrunken to there are 1/2" spaces between the 'planks' full and spilling over with dirt. Walking around barefoot not recommended. There was a nice charging station by the bed that I thought was scratched up, but then I touched it to find it was covered in hair and dirt, not scratches. Note to motel maids everywhere: look at the bathroom door from the inside once in a while. yuck. One more up-side, it was very quiet, and the air conditioner worked well. So so dirty, tho. Sad.

I was expecting a better quality product from Wyndham, the unit was old, furnishings were old, flooring was cheap vinyl. The bathroom shower products were high on the wall and not easily reached. This product did not reflect the price. I'll be sure to give this a pass my next time through.

Stayed a couple weeks ago not bad but this visit bad !!! Hair everywhere in front of rooms and stairways disgusting !! Pet fee $30 almost 1/2 of room charge totally unacceptable! Front desk gal said for a pet room they have to do so much more cleaning like wash the shower curtain in my mind the shower curtain gets washed in every room I would assume apparently not at Travelodge.sad won’t return

Very friendly and helpful staff in all shifts! Very decent expanded continental breakfast. Comfortable beds and clean rooms.

The staff was super friendly and the room was great. I am going to make this where I stay whenever I come to town.

Pretty dumpy place, I would not stay here again. Small room, furnishings were cheap and/or old and worn. Internet service was terrible, the worst I can remember having. It wasn't the WIFI; that stayed connected. But the internet connection kept cutting out, over and over.

That ice machine has to go. I was able to get about 3 pieces of ice. It is all taken apart and a mess. Door into ice machine area is hard to get into.
