酒店非常棒，出去就是海灘，找吃的地方也很方便

Nice.

Hits: Location—easy walk to The Strand, Hermosa Beach and Redondo Pier. Rooms were clean and spacious. Staff was friendly. Parts of room were modern. Very good in-house restaurant. Great balcony off pier. Good price. Misses: Hard to overlook one room had bugs. “Amenity Fee” for that room was waived as result, but fee was BS to begin with as not much for amenities. Parts of rooms (carpet) were dated.

Such a great location right on the marina. Beautiful view of the sunsets. Great staff and clean rooms. Beds are made European so make sure you ask for a top sheet! The restaurant next door that is part of the hotel is amazing. Such great food and service. Highly recommend Shade Hotel and we will be back for sure.

Lovely, quiet hotel right across the courtyard from a lively restaurant with fire pits and water views. LOVED the tub on balcony! Huge room, very comfortable bed and cool design. Did not try room service but enjoyed dining at the restaurant for dinner and brunch. Great for a weekend getaway.

The room was great! The tube on the balcony overlooking the Marina was an awesome. If you want to be in the pool just know that it is the size of a hot tub. Lots of service fees so plan on an extra couple hundred dollars for your stay. You can valet park, but there is no other parking at the hotel, you have to park on the street or find another lot.

No hot water for over an hour after arrival, had to call maintenance to be fixed. Very large carpet stains all over room, and leafy greens still on carpet near bed from prior guests. Ac shut off and wasn’t fixed until morning time…myself, my 7 month pregnant wife, and 11month old were extremely hot for our get “get away” from the desert heat. Also no room gift as paid for and called 7 days, and again 3 days before my visit to ensure would be in order to surprise my wife for her birthday…not the experience I was expecting to have when paying over $800 for 1 night stay.

They charge a “resort fee” per person. Which allows you to have water and using their hot tub. It’s ridiculous. On top of that the room and the entire second floor didn’t have a working AC. They didn’t inform us until after we checked in. She said it’s been a problem for a while. So why don’t they inform guests before they check in. In the dead heat of summer it is not pleasant being in a hot room with no AC. The room had a really bad odor. It smelt like mildew. For a 4 star hotel I’m not sure what makes it a 4 start hotel but even a 1 star hotel has air conditioning. Especially for $600 a night.

Poor service at counter. Not friendly. On top of getting 80 dollar charge after booked room this was added to bill. Then they call me to offer me a a free sparkling wine . I dont drink wine i said can you just send some beer. They said no we cant. What the heck. Why offer?? Wont stay here again. Be careful of the extra fees here im going to spend an extra 150 that i didnt plan on.

the 20$ resort fee per person is a bit excessive compare to what you have for this price... for 2 days with 2 persons it means $80 additional, while the wheather was cold so we could not really benefit of the swimming pool etc...!

The room was clean and very comfortable, however the hotel had booked a large Xmas party without telling the incoming guests and gave me a room right next to where the party was and then gave one of the party goers a room right above me so for the two nights I was there , it was very very noisy, lots of doors banging, yelling in the hall area outside my room and the guest above stomped on their floor until midnight the first night and the second night the played music until 3:30 am in their room and stomped on the floor until the same time.....I had to work the next day each day and was very tired. The hotel did a very poor job of asking guests or letting them know of the party and did not offer them or me a room at the far end away from the party and noise.

Loved this hotel - what a great surprise. They have literally thought of everything and I will stay there again and again.
