Location is a little out of the way for people using public transport although fine for car users. Breakfast is typical German being to a very good standard. Evening meals were excellent.
Ensuite needed a little TLC

Schönes Hotel am Krupunder See, die S-Bahnstation ist ca. 20 min Fußweg entfernt (ohne großes Gepäck kein Problem). Reichhaltiges Frühstück, nettes Personal. Die Betten sind bequem.

Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Aufenthalt in dem Hotel. Es ist klein und fein, mit hervorragender Küche und gutem Frühstück.

Das Hotel liegt am nordwestlichen Stadtrand von Hamburg am Krupunder See um den man wunderbar spazieren und Joggen kann. Die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig und sauber. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist reichlich. Das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Am besten reist man hier mit dem Auto an. Die Anbindung an die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel ist nicht optimal. Optimal ist dieses Hotel aber für Druchreisende, da es direkt an der Ausfahrt Krupunder an der A23 ligt.

This family-owned inn is the last of its kind in Hamburg! The owners are accommodating and welcoming to everyone who stays! They serve a limited menu and the restaurant is booked weeks in advance. The beer is amazing and available anytime you need. I highly recommend this hotel!

A spotless hotel with wonderful, friendly and helpful staff. The room's, in terms of decor are slightly outdated, however, this adds to its charm and the hotel itself, is much older than the frontage suggests. The bed is always extremely comfy and I always sleep well here. The restaurant's food is extremely good, I just very much wish there was a non-alcoholic alternative available to the high quality beers on tap. Given the proximity to the business park and requirements for mindful drinking by their clientele, I do hope they consider this in the near future. But again, I'm extremely fond of this hotel.
