修道院旅館(The Abbey Inn)

My review is specifically to room 2 - the family room. It was clean, and freshly decorated, but we had a terrible stay. The day was sunny and warm, so they had the windows open which I normally love - problem is our windows are about 15 feet from the cooking exhaust and so our windows let in hot, greasy and smelling air. We asked at the bar if we could change rooms but they were apparently fully booked. Next is the noise - at midnight they started loud music (we did NOT book on one of their advertised weekend nights with love entertainment). Then room 2 is right beside the fire door for the room entry so we got all the slamming of the door and loud people walking by. Morning time - finally cooled off and we got some sleep (beds were good). Lots of towels which was nice. Shower was erratic. We've used lots of electric showers during our holiday and this was the only one to act like this. Hot and cold whenever it felt like it. Cubicle too small to escape the icy or lava blasts. Hard to even bend down to get your shampoo off the ground (they did provide shampoo in a pump in shower). Check in is done at the bar. So you do have to wait for the bartenders to be done serving customers to get checked in. The staff were kind and helpful, but I don't think room 2 is good to be rented out.

Was told by a friend the Abbey Inn was holding a Hawaii theme on may holiday wknd so decided to pop down and was very impressed by the efforts the team put in, the beer garden was decorated beautifully with free Hawaii themed accessories on each table which was fun for us to take some photos and have a laugh! The staff were very attentive and made sure throughout the day we were having a good time especially Holly, Teresa, Craig, Angie and Jill!! Thanks for a lovely wee day we now have made some new special memories!!! xxx

Wow what a little gem of a place. Drove by and firstly noticed the amazing beer garden. Which was all decorated like a tikki bar. So pulled into car park with my wife and desided to have lunch. Which for a pub chain was amazing. Compliments to Andrew who I later found out was chef. Although bar and beer garden was busy the staff were on the ball. Plus a great app so u didn't need to leave your table. Thanks to jilly, Holly and Teresa for making our afternoon. Will defo be back. Thanks Team Abbey

Had some dinner and drinks at The Abbey Inn recently. Great prices and great choice of food, all served quickly. Server was friendly and efficient. Think his name was Scott. Will definitely be back. Good choice of drinks too.

Sorry just wasn't for us for a nearby airport stay... Breakfast served far too late at 8am. We had to be off to the Airport at that time and there were contactors getting in their vans with no breakfast. There wasn't even an option of a bacon sandwich to go... So we paid £35 for 2 breakfasts at the rip off Airport.. not a good start. It's a nice clean place but not everyone wants football playing on the screen on their table whilst eating a relaxed meal.. Also too far from anywhere within walking distance. We will look for somewhere in Paisley with a quiet area and an early breakfast option next time. sorry.

The bedroom was spotless with nice white bed linen and towels. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom was well stocked {shower hats and tissues etc}. This venue is family friendly with a large outdoor beer garden and bar food readily available both indoors and outdoors. they can easily accommodate large family groups. Very friendly and helpful staff. We travelled to Scotland during the Easter holidays for a cousins 60th birthday party and we would love to revisit in the Summer.

Had a lovely stay in the Abbey Inn over the Easter period. The staff were friendly and helpful especially Gilly who went out of her way to make our stay memorable. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with everything we required. The food was lovely and reasonably priced, there was music and a table quiz in the bar on the Sunday night. I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel to a friend

What a lovely place we was visiting family and friends in Glasgow and Paisley We came from Yorkshire so didn’t know what to expect first time in Scotland But the staff were very professional and helpful the food was amazing and decent portions Well priced !!! we will definitely be coming back next time we are here

Very comfortable, welcoming, & great bedding & beds. Quiet night & fabulous breakfast included:) Highly recommend...close to Paisley Abbey👍 The staff was friendly...we arrived in late evening & the young man @the bar assisted with our luggage & escorted us to room 2...very spacious with lovely bathroom +toiletries, hotwater, & towels:) Highly Recommend!
