We enjoyed this hotel stop on our way to Banff. The historic charm was really nice, warm and welcoming. The Included breakfast was one of the best we have ever had at a hotel. It was not your standard bagged egg and hash brown! It was real fried eggs, real potatoes, fruit and pastry. We had been given a 1 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit which was a great surprise! We had booked a standard 2 bed room. Traveling with two young adult kids meant they finally got to have a room! The hotel is walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. We have stayed in a lot of hotels on this trip from BC to Calgary and this was the best one. Highly recommend staying for the charm, the warmth, food and location. We had a view of the mountains as well. The only negative - no coffee maker in the room.
