葛利茲酒店

Der erste Eindruck ist nicht sehr gut. Das Gebäude sieht sehr mitgenommen aus. Es scheint, dass mit der Renovierung begonnen wurde. Der Eingangsbereich/die Rezeption sind wirklich nicht sehr einladend. Das Zimmer und das Bad sind renoviert und ganz in Ordnung. Im Zimmer gibt es einen Kühlschrank, der sehr laut ist. Wir mussten ihn ausschalten. Komisch ist auch, dass der alte nicht mehr funktionierende Rauchmelder ohne Abdeckung noch an der Decke hängt  Wer es in der Nacht gerne dunkel hat, muss eine Augenbinde dabei haben. Das Frühstück, welches inbegriffen gewesen wäre, haben wir nicht eingenommen, da uns der Raum nicht zusagte. Zudem hatten wir keine positive Bewertungen über das Frühstück gelesen. Für eine Nacht ist das Hotel in Ordnung. Lage ist super, da ganz in der Nähe von den Restaurants.

Nice place

Overall met our expectations as per the property description. One big miss though was the free "continental breakfast". It was not available until 7:30 and it was basically coffee, toast and cold cereal. Stayed in a Travelodge the next night which was less expensive and their continental breakfast included eggs, pastries, waffles, yogurt and fruit. Also the toilet paper roll in the bathroom was installed on the wall so close to the toilet it had to be removed in order to avoid sitting on it. My pet peeve with any hotel is the lack of storage space in the bathroom and this one was no different. Had to balance toiletries for two people on the toilet tank lid and hope they didnt fall in. The parking lot was a little rough, ie piles of discarded building materials, but the premises were clean inside. The location is excellent for a stay in Revelstoke. Most restaurants, shops and entertainment were within a 2-3 block walk.

Quiet little hotel in the heart of Revelstoke. Close to restaurants and shops. Walking distance to the Columbia River with nice paths. Recently renovated rooms - small but complete with quiet split AC (no noisy window AC here), comfortable bed, fridge and TV. Nice place to spend the night if you are just passing through.
