Great hotel, great stray, family friendly. Loved how the pool was well maintained. If I had more time would off gone in. Hosts were nice and friendly. Would recommend.

The room was clean. The key scanner on the door, the cover kept falling from the door every time it shut. No Hispanic channels available on the TV to watch. The room did not have a do not disturb sign, each room should have that sign. Staff went in the room when I was not in the room, even though I told them not to. The front desk was friendly and helpful. They were able to provide us with any necessities. An appliance was not working properly and they provided a working one to the room instantly. Elevators worked well. Good internet connection. Thank you for your business.

HIDDEN FEES! there were many options to choose from in the area with similar price points. But I choose this Holiday Inn Express and was pleasantly surprised. Everything went well except for our check out when I find out we had to pay $15 a day for parking. I was never told upon getting my parking permit or when booking online that there was a fee. The person who checked us out even had to click on multiple buttons and drop boxes to prove this in the small print. I never have had to pay for parking unless staying in a major city where the hotel has no control over the parking garages. It is new to me to pay to park at a hotel with their own parking lot. If I would have known, I would not have stayed here or at least adjusted my travel plans significantly.

Housekeeping needs to be improved! We had a 7-night stay, every day when we left our room, we hung out the tag asking for our room to be replenished with towels and trash be removed, this never happened once! Every night when we returned to the room, we would have to call the front desk and ask for all the things we needed, a few times it took 2 calls and over an hour and half to receive towels and TP. Twice we were told we needed to clean our room ourselves, they would supply the things we need to do this. Finally on our 6th night stay after returning to a dirty room with no clean towels I had to insist on having someone else other than myself service our room. This took an hour to happen. We reported our shower was not draining and the bathroom was flooding every time we showered, this was not fixed till the 6th night. This was reported to hotel management both verbally and by email with no response.

For the money, I would choose a better hotel in downtown Boston. This is not in a good location. The hotel while supposedly new is very run down. The entry is the only clean area. Hallways are very dirty and haven’t been vacuumed in weeks. Checked in to first room and the sheets had hair and fresh blood stains. Asked for a new room. Second room also had rumpled sheets and hair in them, indicating they had not been changed. Asked for original room and to have new sheets to put on bed. Maids came immediately and put “fresh” linens on. To be honest they either don’t have a good dryer or they have me used “fresh” sheets as they were rumpled and crinkled after they put them on. Had to request the bed coverings be changed as well as they looked like they had other bodily fluids on them. After all that, the deadbolt for the door did not work. Requested maintenance around 5 pm and they did not arrive to fix the issue until after 7. Did not feel safe traveling with two young children and no properly working door and placed at the end of the hallway with a stairwell. Due to the issues and now the time of night, we had to dine downstairs in the lounge area. Food was overpriced and school lunch quality. Only good thing about this hotel was the shuttle service. It arrived early 5:50 am for our 6 am service. We arrived at airport at 6:11. Would definitely never stay here again and would be happy to pay more money for a nicer hotel with better dining choices & location.
