羅得島浪漫酒店

We booked this hotel as it was near to Rhodes old town which we love. On arrival we were greeted at reception and then told how to get to our room. Nobody offered to take our luggage. Lifts and corridors are dated with the most awful carpet - condition and pattern! The room was ok but small and the bathroom was the smallest I ever had in a hotel, also quite dated with a shower over the bath. Had to open the bathroom door and go round it to get to the toilet. We booked a sea view room and when opening the curtains and going onto the balcony we could indeed see the sea. However, our immediate view was of flat roofs one of these buildings obviously houses a generator and the motor from this rumbles away day and night and almost (but not quite) drowns out the noise from the very busy road that separates the hotel from the extremely average beach. The bar area on the top floor is fairly pleasant inside bur the outdoor area which could be lovely is so dark that we had to use our phone torch. Breakfast was good with a nice terrace area. The town is basically a ***** of very average restaurants which face onto afore mentioned busy main road. The pool area is scruffy with very basic sun beds which are close together and grass that needs cutting. To get a beach towel is about a ten minute journey from the room to the spa area. The spa looks to be the most luxurious part of the hotel. We travel regularly and fail to see how this hotel in any way meets the criteria for a 5 star. We were so disappointed we booked out after 2 nights ( big decision) and went to a hotel in Lindos - turned out to be the best decision we have ever made!

Το δωμάτιό μας ήταν κάτω του μετρίου. Για 4 διανυκτερεύσεις δεν αλλάχτηκαν οι πετσέτες οι οποίες δεν μύριζαν καθαριότητα καθώς επίσης κ τα κρεβάτια την πρώτη ημέρα που επιστρέψαμε ήταν άστρωτα.Το καπάκι της λεκάνης ήταν κίτρινο από τα ούρα παλαιότερων πελατών που είχαν ποτίσει στο πλαστικό, το βραδινό δείπνο για το οποίο είχαμε πληρώσει ήταν άθλιο. Πρώτη φορά είδα σε ξενοδοχείο ξεραμένα μακαρόνια. Στην τραπεζαρία υπήρχαν σκισμενοι καναπέδες κ με σημάδια απο βρεγμένα ρούχα κ υπηρχαν πλαστικά σουπλά τα οποία καθαρίζονταν με ενα πανί και απολυμαντικό. Δεν θα το ξαναεπέλεγα σε καμία περίπτωση. Το μόνο θετικό η θέση του ή οποία είναι στο κέντρο, στα εμπορικά καταστήματα κ 2 λεπτά από την πύλη της παλιάς πόλης.

Άνθρωποι που γνωρίζουν από διοίκηση ξενοδοχειακών επιχειρήσεων και φαίνεται στην αντιμετώπιση τόσο των πελατών αλλά και του προσωπικού τους. Καθαροί σύγχρονοι χώροι, πλούσιος μπουφές και αμέτρητες επιλογές λόγω της εξαιρετικής θέσης του στο νησί. Απιστευτη θέα στο Αιγαίο πέλαγος!!Το συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα!! Η καλύτερη επιλογή!!

This hotel is absolutely amazing...I really cannot say anything negative about it. From the staff to the facilities and the location, everything about this hotel is 5 star. Me and my partner went B and B as we like to get out and explore. The breakfast was delicious with so much choice . The staff are so accommodating and will do anything for you. We did eat once in the hotel at the Italian themed restaurant (can't remember the name) and the food was very good . Bit poncy but obviously prepared and served with class at the forefront. The room was spotless and so comfortable with an amazing view that I will always remember. The pool at night is a spectacular. Little lights that change colour and flicker all evening giving the ambience of the hotel such a classy and visually amazing touch . The beach directly opposite the hotel is rocky and pebbly but still very nice. I personally am a beach coniseur so always search for the best beaches. So I would highly recommend tskimba beach which is 10 minute bus ride away . Best beach I have been to ...golden soft sand , crystal clear water. Amazing little bar/restaurant playing chilled and relaxing music. Service to your sunbed if you want and only €20 for 2 sunbeds and a brolly. Outside of the hotel there is an abundance of little shops and restaurants with a variety of different foods . Altogether Rhodes was amazing. The Sentigo Royal Port and spa is absolutely amazing. I will definitely be returning to this place .

I wonder which rooms were shown for the hotel to get 4 star rating. Based on how our room looked and the breakfast, it cannot get more than 2,5 stars. Pros: great location, friendly staff (but i guess in this line of business friendliness is requires). I’ll put breakfast here, although it was nothing special…continental breakfast with not so many choices, but it is eatable. Cons: room had a whole wall chipping due to water issues in the past. Absolutely no sound proof, the door to the room had a 2cm crqck between the floor and door. So the result was we heard everything and everyone in the hallway. Not only that the guests don’t respect the silence sign, the cleaning ladies as well (cleaning room above ours at 6:30, moving furniture). The toilet/shower was all in one, such a small space that when we showered the water went all around, even wetting the toilet paper. And after you shower, it’s impossible to use the toilet till the next morning, as the floor is flooded and we had to go to the lobby toilet. The sink is moved next to the bad, which is not an issue for me, but the faucet is broken so you can’t close it. For the price they have it’s definitely not worth it.

This hotel was certainly one of the best I've ever stayed in. Rooms were cleaned to a very high standard with fresh towels and bedding daily. The food was great (we were only bed & breakfast) but there was such a good choice and all the staff are so warm and friendly. Lefteri the waiter made us feel very welcome from the start and came and spoke to us every morning. He has worked at the hotel for 36 years which speaks volumes for me. During our stay it was my birthday. I opened my cards in the morning and put them on the dresser. When I returned to the room later that day there was a card and a bottle of wine left for me from the cleaners, Entelo & Bona which I thought was a lovely touch. Thank you ladies! The pool area was also immaculately clean and there was never a problem getting a sunbed. If you couldn't get one right next to the pool there were always plenty available on the grass. The sports facilities were fantastic too and kept my 13 year old son occupied. He would look forward to the water polo, darts and beach volleyball. I joined in with the aqua aerobics which was so much fun and even treated myself to a massage. Ben, head of entertainment took most of the activities and made my son's holiday. He's a great guy who absolutely loves his job and is a huge asset to the hotel. The majority of guests I would say were Dutch who were really lovely to us, spoke perfect English and would invite my son to play volley ball with them in the pool. There were also a few Germans who were fine but a bit more reserved and a few English who would always stop and chat. Not one person I spoke to had a complaint about the hotel or staff. The bar area gets quite busy at lunchtime but it didn't take long to be served and there were always tables available. The gyros was definitely a hit with my son and my husband and I had a salad every day for a healthy option. I tried every salad on the menu and they were all delicious. Andreas from the bar was so kind. A young uni student who wanted to improve his English. He served our food and always made a point of asking if we were having a nice holiday and made lovely polite conversation with us. The beach was very beautiful but a bit windy on occasions for me and the sea looked a bit rough. There were always people swimming and it was nice to watch the windsurfers. The sunbeds on the beach were 4 euros a day. You can also see Turkey from the beach which is apparently only 11 miles away. In the evenings we ate out and there are plenty of restaurants to choose from. We opted for Greek food most evenings which was amazing but noticed a few Italian restaurants and the occasional sports bar which served mainly fast food. All in all we never had a bad meal and the Greeks are so hospitable and kind and can't do enough for you. We didn't catch much of the evening entertainment apart from the Greek dancing where the guests participated. Had we known we would have returned earlier to join in. It looked like great fun. Th
