巴克旅館(The Buck Inn)

This was amazing we were in 2 top rooms 3 and 4, ideal 2 teens one side us the other top floor to ourselves , both lovely views , town side quiet midweek , bfast was amazing , staff so friendly and helpful , we will be coming back, lots to do around local area too , including waterfalls and walks

Dog friendly, kid friendly, family friendly. Absolutely fantastic pub, that met all our needs. The food was superb especially, the Buck Burger. Fair prices. Can’t wait to return in the summer, to have full experience of the beer garden, that looks wonderful. The staff were very welcoming. The whole pub was very clean. Thank you so much. We can’t wait to return.

Stayed the night after catterick races and was a lovely stay. Great location to town centre where there is a free shuttle bus to the racecourse. Staff are so friendly and helpful, room was clean and a great size. Lovely pub on an evening and amazing breakfast included. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

We required an overnight stop to break up our journey. We chose the Buck due to the information, photos and feedback given on ********** app. Unfortunately the kitchen wasn't open the night we stayed and the road was being dug up right outside with work commencing at 7.30am. The rooms are a little tired with the curtains requiring attention to cover the window. That's all the negative bits out of the way. The best bits were the beds were comfortable, the breakfast was fabulous and the shower was good. The Buck is within walking distance of other eating establishments so we were able to find somewhere else to have our evening meal. Parking permit supplied so we could park on the street. Staff were all friendly.

There were a couple of problems, the heating didn’t work, I couldn’t get the tv to turn on and the bed was was quite noisy but aside from that it was an enjoyable stay. The bed was really comfortable which I wasn’t expecting. We had a full English breakfast which was fantastic, tea, coffee, and cereal as well as a selection of hot food. I found it to be a charming little B&B with very nice staff and such a reasonable price. I’ll definitely be back

Excellent customer service. We were due to stay at the pub on Saturday 21st October 2023 in order to meet up with friends. The booking had been made for the best part of 6 months. Unfortunately we had to cancel at 3pm on the day we were due to stay because my wife was unable to attend due to illness. The proprietor was very understanding and waived the cancellation penalty despite being entitled to charge the full cost. In addition, the weather was extreme at the time due to Storm Babet and before we cancelled the booking we received regular updates via text messages from the hotel. I am unable to comment on the quality of the accommodation however if it is half as good as the customer service then I feel sure it will be up there. Definitely recommend and will book again.

Really good stay, excellent location, brilliant breakfast, can’t fault anything.

After *********** totally messed me and my husband about with hotels for our wedding anniversary, Even tho *********** said we had a room at the buck inn when there was no rooms there at all for us, the staff went above and beyond getting us a room in their sister hotel around the corner even took us there ans showed us to our new room.
