Property overall dirty and in need of maintenance. Only window in room faced exterior wall so was dark and creepy at the end of walkway. Door to this room and the other room slammed shut so every time someone in or out was very loud. Staff was completely useless when i pointed out these issues. Offered no assistance. Toilet would not flush. Makeup mirror was broken. Rips and tears in the bedding around the mattress. Worst experience ever staying in any hotel. Was shocked at how run down the room is and it’s unbelievable that the owners/managers considered this acceptable. Will never ever stay here again and will advise that others seriously avoid as well.

The room accommodation was stellar and the staff was great. However, I did not feel safe leaving my car in parking garage. The coffee maker did not work and had to be replaced. It was put in an inconvenient location for filling with water. At around ten, a family checked in above our suite. They were running around and shouting, which was disturbing to sleep.

Just got here! Great staff, wonderful area, beautiful building and garden, accommodations are nice! Smaller room with a Queen bed and very clean bathroom. Quaint, historical and romantic.

Very charming historic hotel with sweet restaurant/bar and courtyards. We had a problem with the AC in our room, but the staff worked quickly to move us to another room

We were in Room 127. The air conditioner was extremely loud when going on and off throughout the night. Would suggest staying in another room.

I love this place, but I know it’s not the best option for me on a Monday or Tuesday as there is no restaurant open, meaning not even breakfast was available. The vending machine was also broken so there was no way to even get something to drink on site, not even water bottles in the room.

The hotel seemed a bit run down. The insulation was lacking as we could clearly hear the individuals above us. The decor was heavy and tired. However, it was clean.

The VIP Access benefit was two bottles of water. There is always no wifi signal and TV doesn't work during my stay.

Lovely boutique hotel with nice comfortable rooms. First floor has “parlor room setting” common area, featuring local contemporary art that ties in beautifully with the historic features of the inn. There are 2 charming outdoor brick garden patios for seating in appropriate weather. Though we didn’t eat in their dining space this visit, the bar and adjacent room with tables looked cozy & intimate, with candlelight. There are so many wonderful restaurants within an easy distance, and the impressive Richmond Public Library is directly across Franklin Street. Parking is a little tricky, but there is a public garage around the corner. We visited during the week in February; I imagine parking is even more difficult during busier times of the year, and on weekends when a wedding party is in residence. Parking issues aside, the Linden Row Inn will remain a favorite place to stay when visiting Richmond!

We stayed for one night. The internet did not work. The person at the desk suggested we go to the lobby to get onto the internet and then go upstairs (not acceptable). The TV did not work. The person at the desk tried to fix it but couldn't. Our toilet clogged up. The person at the desk said there was nothing they could do because there were no maintenance persons at the desk

The room was very noisy and not very comfortable. The location is not the best with not much around except a somewhat sketchy commercial district

The Linden Row Inn is a historic property and has personality and character. It is quiet; the staff was very kind and friendly. The only thing missing for me was the availability of good coffee and food--the cafe/restaurant is not open on Monday and Tuesday. Still, I look forward to returning again.

Quiet and clean in historic property. Restaurant on premises; limited menu but excellent food. Skip the chains. Stay here with Edgar Alan.

Nearby parking garage was convenient and very affordable. Nice room with mini-fridge, coffee maker . . . Beautiful, inviting living room-like lobby area. What's not to love?
