Good good

On our arrival, I had the impression that we were an inconvenience as the pub was closed. No one seemed to be on the premises at all after our keys were handed over. It seemed that we only needed one room key as the downstairs door was unlocked also the street gate, unlocked. No alternative to our promised breakfast was offered and there is nowhere else in the area to eat. Without a car we were stuck. The room was tiny, full of bed, no area to walk around it and no chair. With 2 bags we were sidling around each other to get to the bathroom. The shower was not draining and so I found myself standing in a pool of water. We saw no one on our departure, overall this was a huge mistake.

Nice quiet hotel, friendly staff, clean and newly updated rooms. Great location - walkable to Richmond Park. My only suggestion would be to have an early breakfast option.

A couple of nights at the Vic to be close to family. Comfortable room, the bathroom was tiny but not much can be done about that. Good continental breakfast included. Very friendly and helpful staff

Late arrival and gentleman that met us was both friendly and helpful. Room was very clean, adequate in size and was perfect location for us

I enjoyed staying at the Victoria. I received a warm welcome and my room was good and comfortable. The meal I had in the bar in the evening was very good too. I would happily return for another stay at the Victoria when in the Richmond area.

Very cosy space, heating left on which was appreciated in very cold weather. Lovely homely set up in the room with lots of space, large TV, desk/sideboard area which was useful as travelling for work, great tea/coffee/biscuit set up in the room, warm bathroom.

Greeted by very friendly staff and shown to our room. The room was on the small side but very comfortable and had everything we needed. Grabbed a quick dinner in the restaurant for which we got a discount as we were staying. A continental breakfast was included which we weren't aware of (you could pay extra for cooked breakfast) and it set us up for the day nicely. 11am checkout was great as some places seem to be getting earlier. Could hear the kids from the nearby school in the morning (they didnt wake us up) and enjoyed the fact that they weren't ours and we could stay in bed a bit longer. Would definitely stay again

Really, really nice pub/restaurant/hotel. Nice part of town too: Sheen near Richmond. Never heard of Sheen but I was impressed I have to say. The pub was was nicely decorated and had a good choice of beers and wines. The restaurant had a nice variety of dishes the quality of which wasn't bad - in fact, the food was very enjoyable. and the hotel was cosy and very well kept. All in all, a really good stay - it passed the Wife's Acceptance Factor so that can't be bad. 😂 A touch expensive? Maybe. But we are talking North London in 2023 and we're in a bit of a cost of living crisis so all in all, not bad. Oh, I must give a shout out to the receptionist/hostess. A young lady - I think she may have been Spanish or Italian? Apologies if I got that wrong but she was wonderful and a credit to The Victoria. Nice one... 👍
