羅伯遜鄉村民宿的評價

We love staying at the Robertson. It’s an experience in of itself; so much warmer and enticing than the modern type hotels available. One has the feeling of having escaped this world for a while and immersing yourself into the gentle sweetness of the old world. The hotel is set in a wooded area and the grounds are a pleasure to explore. There is so much history within, and in the local area. The rooms are very comfortable (this has been our second visit). The staff are friendly and welcoming, always attentive. We booked dinner this time and enjoyed it thoroughly. All in all, we will be back!

Everything was really great, except the food. I have no issues going back again to stay. Just don't eat there for dinner. Go to the local pub and 'Moonacres' for breakfast instead. The pizza bases are bought frozen. Well undercooked. The pasta had been overcooked. The arrabbiata sauce has Indian spices in it. The arancini were ok but cold in the middle. The chicken dish was just bland. Not a good food experience for the money they charge.

駅からは遠いですが、その分特別感が味わえるホテルでした。クラシックな雰囲気の内装が素晴らしく、夕食・朝食を食べた部屋には、暖炉もありました。週末は結婚式などで賑わうそうですが、私が宿泊したのは平日だったので、宿泊客は少なく、ホテルの中や庭(ミニチュアホースがいます！)を夢中で探索しました。束の間でしたが、お屋敷のようなホテルでの滞在で、アガサ・クリスティの小説に出てくる登場人物になれたような気がしました。
