When we got here at 5:45 pm, the staff said that our room was taken and he had to give us another room for $50 more. (We let them know ahead of time that we wouldn’t get to the hotel until between 5 & 6 pm just like we were instructed to do by Expedias instructions). Then they said the parking garage was full and we could park out on the street a few blocks away but we would have to move our car somewhere before 7 am or get a ticket or towed. Totally unacceptable! After check in we didn’t dare leave to go eat and scope out where our early morning appointment was or who knows where we would have had to park when we got back. Therefor we had to eat on premises. No relaxing dinner out. Also, there was a winter storm forecasted by morning and who knows what that is going to be like with our car parked on the street. The check in staff could care less about us. Fortunately the waitress was very nice and the room very comfortable. Something needs to be done about the check in process and the parking accommodations!!!!

The rooms are new modern and great cause they have a kitchen. The pool and bathtub are super nice. Walking distance to saint mary’s. Overall highly recommended hotel to stay if you are doing anything at Mayo.

Everyone was great except one lady for breakfast. cleaning up early, saying people are eating out of house and home, slamming dishes so loud it hurt my ears. Completely rude and when people would come in to eat towards the end she commented to each one rudely to hurry up and she took food away. I get having a cut off but most people are heading to the hospital and need to get breakfast. She should not be working around people. Other than that everyone else was so kind and helpful. Very clean and great room.

Breakfast options great; dinner at EVEN hotel side was delicious & so convenient at a good price. Parking needs greater attention-especially for those of us staying a week or more! Insufficient number of handicap spaces & assistance w luggage. Ordeal when garage is full. Street construction brought absence of hot water at random intervals during various days!! Never heard from manager. Milton was the most caring & helpful staff there. We paid for 3 week-long rooms & now will look elsewhere for our return.

Room was clean but hallways filled with uncollected trash, dirty towels, pizza boxes etc. our room was beneath spotlights over the patio so had to sleep with an eyeshade even with curtains drawn Some front desk staff were helpful but another quite sharp and surly. Rooms were not made up on weekends but no one pointed to the fine print at check-in Bedroom door could not be closed because the beds were too large and so I had to move a very heavy bed to close the door We reserved a room for a week but because of some maintenance issue we had to move out of our first room while my wife was undergoing surgery at Mayo We gave stayed in Rochester perhaps thirty time including long term stays. I would recommend the Residence Inn (better breakfasts) or the Kahler Grand for convenience

It was a nice place to stay. At 9 pm Someone started vacuuming a couple different times. I neeed to be up very early for surgery. Also music was on constantly in the courtyard

Hotel staff was all very nice and friendly. Helped with what I needed. Bad timing for one day the pool was being tested so no swimming but the kids survived. Cafe staff was kinda on the rude side, not friendly until it came time to pay the bill. So thinking then she decided to be nice to get a tip. Didn’t come to see if we needed anything else during our eating time. Overall though this was my second stay at this hotel and the hotel delivered excellent service and it was perfect for what we needed.

It’s very convenient to have a full kitchen in the room while staying for treatments at Mayo. The rooms were layer out nicely and everything was very clean. My only negative comment is the restaurant in the building. Horrible food! Luckily there are a few good restaurants within walking distance.
