First, upon arrival, the luggage cart had a bad wheel and. would not turn so I had to reload the cart with heavy luggage while the hubs was trying to find parking in the packed parking lot. Next, a totally underwhelming greeting while checking in, no Hilton Honor acknowledgment, no welcome bottle of water and bag of popcorn like at Tru. Next, only 2 small elevators and one was out of service, marked by painters tape in an "X" over the entire door, it didn't look good. The one working elevator is in poor cosmetic condition and very small, bad vibe. The 2nd floor hallway needed a good vacuuming. The room was large which was nice but very "tired" looking and needs an update; the grout is stained so dark, it looks dirty and I didn't want to walk barefoot on the old carpet, the mattress was saggy, old, the sheets were thin and worn. There was a bad outlet near the microwave and a gap in the wall between the outlet cover and wall. The AM coffee was so bitter, I took it back to the room and poured it down the drain. A first for me at a hotel but I decided not to shower there, I don't like the old "shower in a bathtub" vibe; the bathroom was dated with old venting. Although we are Hilton Honor members, we are going to check out the Marriott brand. Hilton, get it together for this property! $220/night??

Excellent place to stay in a lovely town with lots to see. The hotel was remarkably well cared for and the staff was friendly and always helpful. Beds were partially comfortable and the water pressure was excellent. A special call out to Rachel for all her help! She made the stay special for us! Highly recommended.

We stay exclusively at Hilton- this Hampton Inn is in major need of upkeep. The pool is green, the elevators did not work when we returned at night and the rooms are not very clean. We found fingernail clippings and had a stained coverlet on the bed. Housekeeping is supposed to be provided every other day. We did not receive any on after our second night. There is only one other review in the past ninety days, so I don’t know what the situation is with that but I would definitely skip this one. Lots of other hotels in the area.

I live in Florida and travel to New York a couple times a year to visit family and friends. Returning back to Florida Rock Hill Hampton is my go-to place to stop for the night. The place is beautiful and always welcoming. The staff are always friendly. Rock Hill is bustling with many businesses around to choose from for a meal or shopping. In the life of covid breakfast is currently made for you if you're looking for a hot meal before your travels. Otherwise there are other options for you to help yourself. The coffee is always on!

Pros: nice staff, good breakfast, close to tons of shopping and restaurants, able to control thermostat in room Cons: parking lot quite dark- didn't feel super safe, large stain on chair in room, rusty vent grate in bathroom, peeling wallpaper, toiletries lacking -definitely not typical Hampton standards

We return to this location every year on our travels to Florida and back. The consistency of great customer service, clean rooms, and excellent breakfast keeps coming back. This visit did not disappoint. The front desk and breakfast person were on top of their game . They were busy but not to busy to make sure that we had everything we needed. This management staff understands what it takes to run a successful hotel and should be a model for the rest of the brand.

Room and bath very clean and nice. Especially the bath. Bright lights! Receptionist very helpful and upbeat. She was working November 28th at about 630 pm. Breakfast was very good also. Would have liked an English muffin tho.

Hotel staff was super, Check end was fast, room was very clean, beds awesome, tv worked great, breakfast was very good, coffee was excellent, staff was very friendly and helpful, always was the Hampton Inns for all my travels. Thank you.

Clean comfortable rooms and beds. Priced right considering breakfast is included and was really good! Best biscuits and gravy I’ve had. Front desk employees were pleasant and accommodating. I will definitely come back on my next trip through SC!

this hotel is one of the top hotels ever. everybody is so helpful, nice and kind all the front desk is so helpful and so honest , jackie the cook is special to all her guests. she spoils everyone. the food is great and the most chices i have ever seen. i have stayed here for 19 yrs and wont go anywhere else. the mgr works with his staff like one of the gang. the maids are good too. thx to all of you. Rating 4 out of 5 based on price and getting what you pay for. The staff was extremely nice and helpful- honestly very helpful and willing to accommodate needs of my family. The hotel itself is dated and the elevators are slow as a turtle- but for the price and location, it’s a good deal. If I had paid more I would’ve give them 3/5 rating….. I would probably not stay here again unless I was on a budget, but no real complaints as the staff made the stay more enjoyable and manageable for everyone!

I would never, ever book this hotel again! Drove into the parking to find a group of 'unsavory guys" just hanging out. Checked in and went back to my car to get our luggage. Walking back to the hotel with the luggage, two unsavory guys followed us in. One of them closely followed us to the elevator and was about to get into the elevator with us. He didn't, but walked SLOWLY by us, checking us out. We felt extremely uncomfortable. Got to the room and decided not to stay, as we felt very unsafe. We checked out immediately. This was a non-refundable reservation but we didn't even care, that's how uncomfortable we felt. What surprises me the most is that the on-duty desk person and/or manager would allow folks to just hang around the hotel & hotel lobby. Our first and last time making a reservation at a Hampton Inn!

staff maids office staff are all great and the kitchen is grand the mgr is nice and kind the breakfast is one of the best. and best coffee i have had in a hotel they are all kind there and the maintenance guys are nice andhelpful

As a Diamond Club member I was able to get a free upgrade to a very spacious room. Check-in and check-out was very quick using the Hilton Honors app. Breakfast was typical for Hampton Inns. Room clean and beds comfy. Good location with lots of restaurants and gas stations.
