洛克漢普頓Q汽車旅館(The Q Motel Rockhampton)

Check in and out was seamless, the room was very spacious and clean (we were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room), there’s an on-site barbecue that seemed quite nice. Good value for money!

second stay here - clean rooms, comfy beds, easy check in and great restaurant attached!

Generally happy with property. Worried to see loose exposed wires on bedside table lamp (Room 11) -made aware by flickering when attempting to turn on lamp. Was unable to turn shower off - leaking continuously from shower head- otherwise clean, comfortable and pleasant to stay.

Easy check in as we arrived later and everything was laid out on a table to go, no mucking around trying to find staff. Room clean and tidy and the breakfast options were good too - we also had room service from the Thai restaurant on site. Overall made the trip just easier to stay here.

The motel and room is older but has everything you need for an overnight stop, the Thai food was great! The manager/owner even allowed us to park in a separate driveway because we were towing a boat and our only other option was on the street. Very accommodating.

So we didn't see any staff member at all We went to our room and as soon as we walked in we were hit with the smell of bleach and it was like that our whole stay We could hardly breathe The bed sagged to the middle & we only had 1 blanket there wasn't even a cover on the bed & it was cold & noisy They didn't even have your little complementary soaps,shampoos that all hotels have Not enough parking We were itching all night in bed The AC didn't work properly The continental breakfast was definitely not that we ended up going to a coffee shop for breakfast I think we got maybe 3 hrs sleep all night Never stay here again & wouldn't recommend it to anyone

Motel is fairly central and relatively inexpensive- you get what you pay for. The building is old and not maintained very well, the floors were grimy, bar fridge had rust all over it, table/bench surfaces did not look clean. Will not stay there again.

The motel room has a funky smell when we entered the room. Which we realised was a vomit smell. The tv remote didn’t work as took us a long time to figure out how to turn it off. It was on when we opened the door. The shower I realised after stepping in had dead insects and was full of someone else’s hair. We couldn’t contact anyone from the office and the motel was full so couldn’t ask for a new room. We left again at 8.30 pm after checking in at 2pm and nearly drove straight back to Brisbane. Thank goodness for a friend with a spare bedroom. Worst motel I’ve ever been in. Don’t ever stay there!

Like that all preparations were completed before arrival. Like the free breakfast the variety was good Due to school holidays it was a little noisy
