Отличный отель. На фото в акаунте не он, а вид из него, но сам отель тоже достойный. Чисто, полноценные завтраки, удобное расположение во всех смыслах. Один из немногих отелей с реально работающим кондиционером

Our stay at the Viminale View Hotel was an acceptable one - but we would unlikely return on a future visit to Rome. Arriving at the hotel in the early afternoon, we were pleased to be allowed to check in ahead of the published time (14:00hrs). The service was friendly and efficient and we were quickly shown to our room - that being a ‘deluxe’ room at the end of a corridor. Room number 1 was to be our home for four nights. The room was of a good size and well-equipped e.g. towels, tea and coffee making facilities, a small fridge (with optional mini-bar), a television and a bathroom - with an excellent free standing bath tub in the centre of the bedroom. Perhaps my biggest gripe with the hotel was the disappointing view from the room. A ‘Viminale View’ it most certainly was not. Interestingly, room number 1 was the only room on the wrong side of the building. All others, including cheaper standard rooms, had the all-important Viminale view. In fact, not from anywhere in the hotel could we see the Viminale, since the reception area too was without any windows. Our two windows looked out onto a gutter on one side and an adjacent building on the other. We paid a little extra for breakfast, which was of a simple but acceptable standard. Given the size of the hotel with just 10 rooms, an extravagant buffet was not expected. More a continental selection, there was enough to keep us going until lunchtime. Cold meats, cheese, bread, pastries, yoghurts, toast etc, with scrambled egg and sausage available as hot options. Hot drinks were made on request. As a smaller establishment, this accommodation appeared only ever to be staffed by one person at a time, which somewhat impacted service. Once seated for breakfast, we were provided with a hot drink and then left to it. There was no opportunity to request further drinks, which was a little disappointing. And on one occasion, we watched as a guest had to go in search of a member of staff in order to get a cup of coffee. Perhaps in the mornings, especially with breakfast to provide and guests occasionally checking out, a second staff member would be beneficial. House-keeping was of a good standard but returning on our last night, we were keen to enjoy a coffee, only to find that our supplies had not been replenished and our cups were still dirty on the side. As a hotel unstaffed after 17:00hrs, it wasn’t a simple case of calling for some coffee, rather just going without. Whilst an enjoyable stay, the view from the room and the lack of hotel staff beyond 17:00hrs just didn’t work for us.

Not having any control of the HVAC unit, was a major issue that couldn’t, or wouldn’t, be fixed. When we arrived, the room was very hot. The staff said that they could not switch to cooling mode until “winter was over” (this was at the end of March). Fortunately most of the days were cloudy so radiant heat from the sunshine didn’t heat up our room. But don’t tell that you can’t control the HVAC unit when I know that you can. Don’t let the customer adapt to your business practices, accommodate them as much as possible.

This was a good choice for a quick night in Rome. Room was clean and location was close to the train station as well as walkable tourist attractions. Front desk is only manned until 5:00pm but instructions were very clear on how to access room.

Excelente hotel Excelente hotel próximo a Roma Termini e a poucos minutos de caminhada dos principais pontos turísticos de Roma, mercados a menos de 1 min. A facilidade com check in antecipado e a limpeza no quarto todo dia mesmo sem pedir foram o diferencial. Recomendo muito essa hospedagem, quando voltar em Roma com certeza ficarei aí de novo.

Quarto confortável, porém sem recepcionista (ou staff) após as 17 horas e durante os dias da estadia não havia wifi disponível. O café da manhã é bem simples.
