I have been staying at this premier inn for many years during the build and break of Creamfields Festival. This year I found myself needing to stay for a longer period of around 9 days. The two wonderful ladies on the reception, Amy and Emma could not have been more helpful to me during my stay if they tried. Their customer service was truly outstanding and their friendly demeanour really made my stay away from home for such a long time much more pleasant. Big thanks to them in particular.

The windows didn’t open in the room and the air conditioning wasn’t working properly so the room was very stuffy.The curtains had holes in them so in the morning light was shining through them and breakfast was a mess from getting told they didn’t have a table when half of them were empty to waiting ages to order and receive the food.

Staff were very friendly and professional, nothing was too much for them, rooms were cleaned to perfection couldn’t ask for any more would definitely recommend and stay here again

Reception and cleaning staff were pleasant. Unfortunately, the sound proofing is virtually non-existent so you can hear all noises in the rooms directly above, especially if kids are running around etc. We put up with it up to a certain time but beyond 10pm is a joke. Told reception staff and they said they'd give them a knock on the door and ask them to be quiet. Didn't do any good as kids are kids and they make noise, especially on holiday. It is the lack of sound proofing at the hotel which is the issue. One to avoid if you want a guarantee of a good night's sleep.

The Radiator/ heater was not functioning. Was the knob out of battery??. I spent a very cold time at night, and getting out of the shower. Had to dress in the bathroom. The hot shower stream was week, and I had to flush the toilet couple of times.

Excellent stay. Great reception staff, really helpful. Food was delicious and quick to serve. Bar staff was also very good

Stayed for business as I do regularly with premier inns and unfortunately this place is going down hill and I will not be staying again , rooms are shabby , dirty and staff uninterested the restaurant next door needs closing come on premier in sort your self out what has happened

I had a very wonderful time. The service was amazing and the rooms were super clean and the food was great. The staff members were very helpful and with a smile

Amy sicily and Emma brilliant very helpful can't do enough for you i have been staying for some time and they never fail to help with everything always have a warm welcome

Excellent stay. Great location with plenty of parking. The on site Beefeater was excellent value with great food. Bedrooms and showers up tot he usual standard. Rooms very quiet considering proximity to the M56. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Room 14 was stinking of mouldy smell Was so hot even with windows. Open couldn't not have fan on as was making mouldy smell. Worse! I am now ill with chest infection due to breathing in this and spending g the night here even thoe I wore a face mask all night because of the smell

Sadly, this hotel really needs an air con upgrade. For balance, it was easy to check in and get to the room. Plenty of parking and no other issues. Warmth was a big problem. The room was really warm. No air con means having the window open and a fan in the room. The hotel next to the motorway so with the window open, its really noisy. Unfortunately, it was really difficult to sleep due to the heat..having to leave the fan on overnight and window open meant too noisy and too hot. The place is in desperate need of air con retro fit. No staff around at reception to complain to so we left early morning.

The blonde on reception I think her name was Emma. was very friendly and polite nothing was to much to ask especially when we arrived late an were trying to find food that late.i would definitely stay there again if I’m ever back up that way!

Does exactly what you need for a pit stop - clean, convenient, comfy beds, decent breakfast. Room was warm with no air con, but you can't have everything!
