Horrible Horrible experience

Room was clean, service was fast and efficient, fast Wi-Fi, and with the location great to do activities around 5min away any direction. I’ve stayed here multiple times and really enjoy the place. If you looking for a good spot to quick this would be the one. Prices are also really good.

I'm not saying they are all the same but don't expect too much from this hotel chain. I stayed in their hotel on watt avenue sacramento and it was the worst experience of my life, ruined my whole holiday. I was a solo traveller from England and I felt so unsafe all week. Certain things I accept were my fault, my room was not cleaned once in 7 days, no new towels no offer of a cleaner to come in, now I could have asked so I wont say too much about that but the standards at this place were awful, I had no data on my phone so was relying on WiFi and that didn't work in my room until the 4th day of my trip also the tv didn't work for my whole stay and as a solo traveller I felt completely alone once back in the room, it was not a nice area and yet no real signs of security around and on the Sunday afternoon I was going to the toilet and bare in mind my door to the toilet did not close so I'm sitting there half naked in full view of the door and a man walked in with a young lady, they both looked at me then walked back out, after I concluded my business I went outside and the man introduced himself as the manager and said the young lady should be in this room but I said sorry but I have this booked for 3 more nights, and with that he just walked away, not even an apology! I've been emailing since my stay trying to get a refund and they finally agreed that I deserved a partial refund but then there were problems everytime I tried to get my refund, they gave me a phone number that doesn't work, sent a cheque that can't be cashed, got me to send details for my PayPal to then tell me they can't refund via PayPal! Awful hotel, dreadful amenities in an unsafe area, terrible staff, and awful treatment from everyone I've had dealings with online since my stay!
