薩克拉門託市區議會公園Residence Inn 酒店(Residence Inn by Marriott Sacramento Downtown at Capitol Park)

Great location and hotel. Very secure. Only complaint is all the hidden cost such as $20 a day to park in the garage and a number of fees that add up to over $35 a day. These should have been disclosed when I made the reservation.

I was shocked upon my arrival to find a group of what appeared to be homeless persons in front of the hotel and in the lobby. While the hotel and the room were clean, my wife and I felt very uncomfortable, particularly when we found that these individuals had keys to access the elevator and building. We are not 'snobs' but I resent paying over $300 a night to share this facility with 'street people'. My wife raised this issue with the person at the front desk who simply said "Well, you know we are a downtown hotel" So is the Hyatt and I did not see street people standing in front of that facility. Pool water was extremely cold and towels were often not available. My final surprise came when I got the bill and found out that I was charged almost $400 U.S. for my first night. Not sure if all of this is *******'s fault or Marriott's fault but I am not happy about this situation. Don't imagine I will get a reply but it would be nice if I did. M Freeman

The management at this hotel is the worst I've encountered. Their lack of courtesy reflects poorly on this Residence and on the Marriott chain as a whole.

The room is really modern nice and clean the kitchen was upscale when there was a problem maintenance came right away and fixed it the front desk was very friendly the continental breakfast was okay will be going back again

Great hotel, great location, and updated clean rooms with excellent amenities ! Definitely would stay here next time I’m in town.

rooms and staff were great. Remodeled since I stayed last time. Love this place. Close to food and convention center.

My flight was delayed so I arrived much later than planned. The slider doors were locked and I pressed the call button. I could easily see the front desk and the staff member was sitting on his cell phone. He did not bother to get up. When I rang the call button again he got up with a clear attitude. He came to the doors and opened them but did not even greet me. He walked right back to the front desk. I checked in but he provides me no information about the hotel, breakfast hours, or any other useful information. He seemed clearly frustrated that I had disturbed him. I woke up early because I was unsure about breakfast hours. I was then told that there were multiple “call offs” and breakfast would be late. No big deal foe me since I really didn’t know what time it was in the first place. However, breakfast was served 2 hours late and the food was cold. The eggs tasted odd and were powdery. Would not stay again.

Did not know about expensive paid parking, construction, difficulty driving into the hotel parking, difficulty gaining access to enter the lobby.
